05.01.2022 Parking Infringements The school has been advised by the police that as of this week, they will be conducting patrols around the school during Kiss and Drop and Collect and Go and will issue infringement notices to any person breaking the law. This may include but is not limited to, parking over driveways, parking in a no parking zone or parking in a no stopping zone. 01.01.2022 Colour Run Fun Last Friday was a massive colour explosion at SPS! The students were excited and all came in the gates bouncing ready to go at 9:10am! Year 6 ran a tabloid of activities through the morning focused on team work, wellbeing, disco dancing, chicken throwing and even included some cosmic yoga.... Water buckets, super soakers, sprinklers and very excited teachers got everyone pumped with excitement, wet and ready to take on the colour squirters around the course. Through the balloon arch they went and into the puff, blob and colour ball of fun, emerging as human rainbows. The sausage sizzle special orders were also a hit with the students! 284 meal deals plus a few extra lunch orders and our ‘superpowered’ canteen managed to have everyone fed on time and served up with a Super Dooper as a treat after the run. Great work! Thank you to our ever supportive P&C for their efforts in sourcing and donating all the equipment and a ‘truckload’ of coloured powder. On behalf of all the students and the staff THANKYOU for helping to bring a colourful end to our 2020 year! Thanks to Mrs B and all the staff for ‘getting in’ and organising and ‘getting the job done’! The Year 6 students did an amazing job supporting you and have certainly shown great leadership qualities during the day. Ms Deanne Brown Principal Ms Deanne Brown Principal Singleton Public School
