23.01.2022 If your pet needs urgent medication but you are unable or prefer not to attend please phone we may be able to organise a collection point in the carpark or a delivery to letterbox. Payments can be processed by phone . We are able to fill most scripts but will try to limit to 2 month supply per patient to ensure equal access. 17.01.2022 We are working toward setting up a Skype remote consultation option in addition to still seeing animals within the surgery while their owners may wait out in the carpark .We can collect them on lead or in a cat basket .Prescriptions repeats can still be phoned through. Please bear with us we want to continue to be there if you need us . We are used to dealing with Parvo, Cat Flu and animal health epidemics . Humans are another thing..

15.01.2022 Some examples of restrictive nostrils and after correction of a similar patient. Affected dogs are prone to breathing issues , choking , vomiting and overheating. Many have soft palate issues as well -we often recommend correcting this around the time of desexing .

14.01.2022 If in doubt ask us. We cant always cure these dogs but can often improve life quality

13.01.2022 We will now be doing mostly animal only in clinic consultations Please phone ahead and let us know you have arrived (by awave in the carpark) Have your cat in basket or dog on leash and and we can collect. Surgeries drop offs will go ahead as normal with above same process .We can collect history information or payments by phone during or after consult . May need need to limit script to 1 month supply till further notice . Thanks for your patience, we want to be here if you need us .Regards Staff at Sinnamon Vet

12.01.2022 Trying to work on your pose before Halloween comes.

11.01.2022 This tiny little benign tumour was causing big problems. Doggie that was drinking lots of water and found to have high Calcium levels (which is toxic to the kidney and heart muscle. The Parathyroid tumour was removed today from near the windpipe and should have an excellent prognosis. Tricky but rewarding surgery.

11.01.2022 You can find these social media images (and others) to help people better understand COVID-19 and its effects on pets and the veterinary profession. Download and share them with your communities http://bit.ly/3d76eJc

03.01.2022 A very simple yet powerful piece of advice from Maria our nurse and doggie trainer at Behaving -K9s "A big part of the training is to explain to the people how to behave around the dog, rather than actually teaching the dog stuff. Of course we also teach the dog a few things, the first day of the program we focus on proper lead walking, technique to calm the dog down, place training and socialisation. All very important steps for a happy, balanced dog and a great relationship between owner and dog."

03.01.2022 Some difficult parts of the job today, putting a beloved pet to sleep in the time of social distancing .We were still able to set up a table near a window area just in the waiting area so the owner was able to hold a paw through the window to comfort their doggie while we did our bit . Peaceful result . Made a nice end to an otherwise tough day . Thankyou to all our clients for your patience and support while will enact these new protocols. Regards, The Team at Sinnamon Vet

03.01.2022 Mama Pumpkin is doing great after her C-section! She gave birth to 5 beautiful baby pumpkids!

02.01.2022 Got a mask ? We are politely requesting clients to wear a mask if you have one while attending the clinic . This can help prevent silent shedding and aerosol transmission during general conversation as we may at times need to work within the 2 metre zone . We may be able to provide a disposable mask if required but a simple washable cloth mask or sanding mask will also suffice. If EVERYONE in the community does this whnever outside the house , symptomatic or not ,it will definately change the trajectory ! Flatten the curve !

01.01.2022 Our first ever patient Teak -still going strong at 18 years
