12.01.2022 It's Fun Fibre Friday again. Covid-19 (serious problem it is) has seen an increase in yarn sales and this means a lot more knitting happening. This is a good thing. So I wondered, has the virus prompted new patterns being developed? A search showed "yes". Many of the patterns are for items to give love and support. But I also came across these that I thought quite interesting- A YouTube video for knitting a face mask https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCJ8h-nRuLs A pattern for a... teddy with a face mask. The pattern is a PDF download from The Age UK. Search for "ageuk covid-19 bear" to get the pattern. And last, a crocheted Corona Virus germ designed by Jennifer Ditton! The pattern is available on Ravelry. www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/coronavirus-germ-covid-19 Have you done some special Covid-19 knitting? If so, please tell us about it. Let us all do what we can to stop the spread of Covid-19, and stay safe. See more
