25.01.2022 The Foundation held its Annual Volunteer Christmas Luncheon at the Canada Bay Club on the 19th December with over 40 Volunteers attending as well as Foundation Committee members and staff, MP for Drummoyne Mr John Sidoti, Major Sponsor Harvey Norman representatives Alison Henderson and Kaylah Hyslop along with special guests the Israel family whose son Isaac is a quadriplegic and recently received from the Foundation a donated converted Wheelchair Vehicle. It was a special day for the Foundation who were able to acknowledge and celebrate the great and unselfish work of all our wonderful Volunteers throughout 2019

Organisations will be acknowledged with their name/ logo sign written on the Vehicle which travels throughout the Sydney metropolitan areas covering the Central, Eastern, Southern, Northern & Inner West regions of Sydney. WEBSITE SPONSOR Our current website is getting a revamp and will become the central focus of the Foundation. It will be developed to accommodate an online booking service, community events, along with general information and news regarding the Foundation. 21.01.2022 The Foundation has now been operating its FREE Patient Transport service since the 15th June 2020 with a full service available from the 27th July 2020. Even though the situation is still quite fluid the Foundation is determined to help as many people as possible through this uncertain & difficult period. 18.01.2022 COVID -19 Update 1st May 2020 The Foundation FREE transport service continues to remain suspended until further notice. Today the Prime Minister Scott Morrison said that the National Cabinet has decided to bring forward its consideration of the easing of restrictions to next Friday the 8th May 2020. Whilst this is a positive step the details of what restrictions will or will not be lifted will be crucial to the Foundations decision to when it can re-commence its service onc...e again. As mentioned previously the health of our Volunteers and Clients are our No 1 priority and whatever decision is made will be made with their safety paramount in our minds and because of the type of service we provide more on the cautious and conservative side. Nevertheless our existing clients will be the first to know. In the meantime the Foundation is continuing its great work in the community with its Buddy Program with over 500 calls made to clients over the past 4 weeks culminating in the donation of Woolworths Basic grocery boxes to those in most need. 16.01.2022 The re-opening of Roden Cutler House the home of Ausgrid. The Foundation was proud to be part of the re-opening of Roden Cutler House in the Sydney CBD on the 15th August 2019. Lady Cutler unveiled the new plague in the buildings new foyer commemorating the legacy & history of Sir Roden Cutler VC. Amongst the many dignitaries was Sir Rodens son Anthony and grandsons Andrew and Jack.

11.01.2022 The Foundation continues to help people in most need by donating a mobility scooter to Janine Thomas of Waterloo who struggles with her mobility with the simple task of doing the grocery shopping (something we take for granted) becoming more and more difficult for her. The Foundation is proud to help and continues to support and make a difference to peoples lives.

10.01.2022 Foundation receives $60,000 Federal Grant. This kind and gracious grant from the Federal Government towards the purchase of a purposely built wheelchair Vehicle and in particular the tremendous work and dedication by Dr. Fiona Martin MP Federal Member of Reid in ensuring the grant went through cannot be underestimated and will have a positive & significant impact on the Foundations work moving forward It allows us the capacity to further expand the scope of our unique &... FREE Medical Patient Transport service to those people in our community & in particular the Reid electorate who are less fortunate than ourselves, are wheelchair bound and have special needs which importantly and crucially culminates in the improvement of their overall quality of life CEO Vincent Del Zio

09.01.2022 The Foundation donates Wheelchair Vehicle to Quadriplegic boys family The Foundation through its Special Circumstances Grant was for the first time able to donate a Wheelchair Accessible Car to the family of a young 14 year old Quadriplegic boy Isaac Israel. As CEO of the Foundation Vince DelZio said during the presentation of the Vehicle The culmination of all the hard work of the Foundation over many years to not only help people get to & from important and at times cr...itical medical appointments FREE of charge was surpassed today with the presentation of the Vehicle to a family most in need. Not only will it make a huge difference to the families quality of life but most importantly will allow Isaac to be free to go to the beach, picnics and spend quality time with his family the simple things in life that we all take for granted. Today was a proud moment for the Foundation and further ensures we are able to carry on the proud tradition and legacy of a great Australian as in Sir Roden Cutler VC. 03.01.2022 On Friday the 1st November 2019 Sydney Boys High School Year 11 Students once again participated in the Foundations annual Collection Day. The boys collected close to $8,000 for the Foundation with all proceeds going towards the Insurance costs of the Foundations Patient Transport Nine (9) car fleet. On behalf of Lady Cutler and the Committee of the Foundation I would like to thank all the boys who took part and did their best in raising some much needed Funds....
