25.01.2022 ***Sirromet parkrun cancelled 9th January*** We are so very sorry to announce that due to the Greater Brisbane lockdown beginning at 6pm tonight we will not be holding an event at Sirromet tomorrow. This is obviously a developing situation, so we will keep you posted on when we will be back. We are very disappointed that our anniversary has been postponed again but the health of our community is the priority, so please stay safe and follow guidelines and we hope to see you all back at Sirromet soon!

24.01.2022 ***Rescheduled Sirromet Anniversary Event - Saturday 16th January!!!*** We are all set to return to our lovely hills on Saturday, and we will be (belatedly!) celebrating our 5th Anniversary. We definitely have lots to celebrate, so come and join us in your sparkliest 'Razzle Dazzle' gear! Please remember to complete the parkrun contract tracing register - the details are in a post pinned to the top of this page.... We can't wait to see you :) Ellie (RD)

18.01.2022 Congratulations to the 57 peeps who ran and walked the beautiful Sirromet hills. Today we warmly welcomed 17 first timers to Sirromet parkrun. The event was made possible by 7 volunteers, without you all, we would not be able to function. Saturday 9th January we will be celebrating our 5th birthday and would love for everyone to come in their best party/parkrun gear. Think PARTY PARTY PARTY!!!! I have loved being your RD for the last couple of weeks and will be handing the b...aton over to Ellie for the next 2 weeks. Til we meet again next Saturday, Yours in parkrunning, Lexie See more

06.01.2022 It's parkrun eve! If you will be joining us for our anniversary run, please take note of the following information: While masks are not required if you are doing 'strenuous physical exercise', the QLD Government guidelines state, "you are strongly encouraged to wear a mask in outdoor spaces when you cannot physically distance". Everyone should have a mask with them at all times when outside their house, so please come prepared :)... While everyone's safety and wellbeing is a priority, we are also super excited to (finally!) be able to celebrate our anniversary! Volunteers please arrive by 6:40am and everyone else 6:55am. Please use the link on the post pinned to the top of this page to complete our contact tracing form for each event you attend. Don't forget that you can grab an after-event coffee from the Tuscan Terrace, right next to our start/finish. See you in the morning! Ellie (RD)

04.01.2022 Hey Sirromet parkrun fans, on Saturday we celebrate our 5th anniversary! We missed our 4th anniversary completely last year due to events being held at Sirromet and then Covid, so we are extra happy to be able to celebrate this year. We would like to invite you to join in our ‘Razzle Dazzle’ theme and wear something bright/fancy/sparkly! We look forward to seeing you

02.01.2022 See you soon...
