22.01.2022 Ok guys, here is another funny way we have in Spanish to express things; for example, to say I like soup, we literally say: soup is pleasing to me: Me gusta la sopa. Me = to me; gusta = is pleasing; la sopa = the soup

19.01.2022 Alright my friends. In Spanish to say that we like someone we literally say someone falls well on us. "Tu hermano me cae bien" is how we say I like your brother but that phrase literally means "your brother falls well on me"

14.01.2022 Check out some vocabulary in Spanish in the notes section.

06.01.2022 OK dear friends, there hasn't been any postings from us in a long time, it's time to put a remedy to that!!. I am going to be posting from time to time some common phrases in Spanish to express some things which in English you express them in a totally different way guys. Here is the first one: When in English you say "I can"t be bothered" in Spanish we literally say "It gives me laziness" that is "Me da flojera" . Me = me; da = It gives; flojera = laziness. Ok guys that's all for now, I hope you practice this phrase a lot (or not?)

01.01.2022 Ok guys another funny Spanish way of speaking. You know how we say my arm hurts?, we say the arm hurts to me: Me duele el brazo. See, for us body parts are like entities that can do things to us that we do not control like hurting, itching, swelling, etc. That's why we don't refer to our body parts with possessives but with the articles "the" or "a". So "the" arm itches to me, or "hurts" to her, etc me duele el brazo te duele el brazo le duele el brazo... nos duele el brazo os duele el brazo les duele el brazo Can you guess what those mean? Nos vemos!
