16.01.2022 BEHIND THE SCENES // Ever wondered what engine room of a shoe boutique looks like at the peak of the season? Well here is ours. There's 721 boxes of shoes, 18 laybys, 4 pairs waiting to be collected from repairs, 8000 sheets of pink tissue paper, 174 pairs of earrings, 8 shoe stretchers, boxes of stock to be unpacked, gift boxes, 7 Hat boxes, a fair bit of mess, 2 women and a ladder. It's like jenga, trying to balance and fit all those boxes in so that we can fit as many as we can and also quickly and easily locate them for you when you are patiently waiting to get that shoe on your foot.

04.01.2022 Today marks one year to the day that I flew to Italy to find some unique and stunning pieces to share with you in the Sissa Sorella collection This week I have finally launched it in store, and it's been so well received. Thank you to all my beautiful customers that have lovingly purchased a pair of the new @kudetashoes handmade in Naples, Italy. This is an extremely limited collection...and in a bittersweet way, selling very fast.... For all those customers outside of our wonderful city of Canberra, the new season stock will go online from October. Prior to then you are welcome to reach out via social media, phone or email and I can talk through the range, sizing etc. This is just the start...introducing the Amalfi slingback heel. Full leather inner and outsole. Textures laser cut leather in light tan, over the foot strap and an edge which creates a meandering line up the foot. A stacked heel for added comfort. These are seriously, like slippers on the feet. $349 sizes 36-41.

The dreamy 'Verona' heel has perforated creamy leather with a grey snakeskin detail. With a V-shaped opening which sits flush against the skin. Wood Cuban heel.... $349 sizes 36-41.

I am always grateful when women I ask, beg, to help me with shoe photography say "yes" Not only is it more fun to share the shoe love with someone but its great to see shoes on different shaped and sized feet. I'm narrow and long and find summer sandals pretty frustrating as I often slip through the straps Having a friend with a slightly wider foot helps me to understand how the... collection can fit different feet We have a wide range in the collection this season. When you pop in store, the Sissa team are always happy to spend time to help you find the right fit to the best of out ability and availability.
