23.01.2022 In October we attended the official lauch of an amazing, strong woman in business, who had worked tirelessly to open her own Authentic Ghanian Food Restaurant. Yes you know who it is - Sister Liba from Liba's Catering Services operating from Liba's Authentic African Cuisine Shop She had partnered with us on our "Cents Drive" to collect all the empty bottles from her customers, to cash in for Sisters Hand in Hand. Today she went and dropped off the first load of bottles and ...cashed them in. We want to say a big thank you to Liba for her support and joining with us, to raise much needed funds for the organisation and to all her loyal customers, that saw the bin and made an active effort to put their bottles in our bin. 16.01.2022 ARTS AND CRAFTS WORKSHOP Today was the arts and crafts workshop. The children that attended made insects and flowers and ran around and around and around, Stopped for some refreshing lunch of fruits and juice and were back to painting, playing and having an absolute blast the beginning of these school holidays!... The best part was when one of the guide dogs - Rocky stopped in for a visit Don't forget tomorrow is our volunteer packing Day, come down, bring the kids and volunteer to pack Hygiene packs and don't forget we have meals available for sale to raise much needed funds Bring the little helpers and your big appetites and let's get packingggggg!!!!!!

16.01.2022 Sisters Hand in Hand's Cents Drive If you have ever wondered how you can donate to SHIH but didn't have funds or time to donate, here is another way! Starting from the 1st of October, Western Australia will be joining the rest of the country and paying 10 for each bottle/can with the supporting information on the back.... All YOU have to do, is save your bottles and cans and pop them over to us or drop them on our bin ready to be taken to the recycling centre. For all the attendees to upcoming events and workshops, don't forget! This is our Cents Drive and it is ongoing! Donate Today, It Makes Cents

13.01.2022 Brunching On The Swan Eat diamonds for breakfast and shine all day, they say We dined for brunch in true elegance by the Swan River surrounded by the best company. The beautiful set up was done by Khadijah from K&M Event Services ... The yummiest Ghanaian food in town was provided by Liba from Liba's Catering Services, who pushed to be a part of our amazing day DESPITE her restaurant opening in JUST 6 days time!! The additional grazing board was designed and put together by Sisters Hand in Hand. The truly delicious and mouth watering sweets were provided by Amine Benallal who truly outdid himself! Last but certainly not least, Henna was applied by the very talented Fatima. A Sunday well spent brings a week of content. Thank you to all the ladies that attended and shared in the beautiful day

Whether it be our Single Mothers Village, the low income families, the women who try hard every single day to provide for their families. The businesses that support all our hard work or the individuals that constantly reach out to donate funds, their time, to be on the food rosters or just to be there as a friendly warm face. As the year is drawing to an end and final plans for next year are being made it's truly an honour to look back and see everyone who has taken this journey with us
