07.01.2022 Challenge the neighbours and get creative with pavement art Puffy Chalk Paint Ingredients 1 cup flour... 1 cup water 1 tablespoon dishwashing liquid 5-10 drops food coloring or washable paint How to make puffy chalk paint In a large mixing bowl stir together the flour and water until there are no lumps Stir in the dish soap to the flour mixture Add food coloring of your choice of color until the desired color is achieved Pour the mixture into your squeeze bottle Use up the paint on the same day you make it, this recipe doesn’t keep If you are making multiple colours, make each colour in a different bowl or one at a time and pour into separate bottles

06.01.2022 It is a very different ANZAC Day this year but one where we will all remember quietly in our own homes and driveways. A quick and easy ANZAC biscuit recipe to enjoy with your cuppa today. 1 cup plain flour... 1 cup rolled oats 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup coconut 125g unsalted butter 2 tbs golden syrup 1 tbs water 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the sugar, rolled oats and coconut. Melt the butter in a saucepan, then add golden syrup and water. Stir the bicarbonate of soda into the liquid mixture. Add the liquid to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Place walnut-sized balls of mixture on a greased tray and bake at 175C for 15-20 minutes.
