17.01.2022 Need a sitter for the holidays coming up? Or just need a few hours kid-free? Whether you could use some quiet time to study, work, exercise or have some fun! send Gracie a message and secure a spot today!

06.01.2022 HERB SENSORY PLAY There’s nothing more pure than seeing the little ones enjoy what Mother Earth has to offer - we love taking a blanket outside and gathering pieces from the garden For babies herbs are an excellent and safe, hands on way to explore and develop their LOOK, FEEL, SMELL and TASTE senses ... As they get older we may introduce scissors for trimming, water and utensils for mixing and also different game ideas to extend our garden fun and develop skills and creativity With love, Gracie xx

04.01.2022 ICE BLOCK MAKING Looking for a fun activity for a rainy day? Being stuck inside can be fun, and a perfect time to learn new skills in a safe/controlled environment!... Try making these heathy treats the kids will LOVE, and practise patience while we wait for them to freeze when the sun returns! All you will need to create your own are: ice block moulds (or create your own using cups and paddle sticks), water or juice and whatever fruit you have in the fridge! With our first batch we started by crushing raspberries to mix in the water for flavour, and then added pieces of apple and strawberries! TRY squeezing fresh orange juice and add pulp pieces blitz a banana, some yoghurt/milk and cinnamon make a fruit salad and fill voids with a little water The kids will love the freedom to be creative, take charge and get messy! With love, Gracie xx

02.01.2022 MAKE RAINBOW RICE for sensory play! There are some huge benefits of getting the children involved when preparing for activities, especially hands on ones like making rainbow rice! Following simple recipes like this encourages your little one to be independent and self-directed. It teaches them to follow instructions step by step, and gives an opportunity to develop problem-solving skills!... Making rainbow rice is another fun way to exercise fine motor and hand eye coordination skills while we measure, pour and mix Its also incredible at enhancing your child’s social and emotional development by giving them the opportunity to recognise and apply their pre-existing knowledge (like counting, sequence and physical skills), boosting their self confidence levels With love, Gracie xx
