15.01.2022 It's good to have an overall goal - "I want to lose 20kg" - but it's actually much harder to stay motivated with just the end outcome in mind. Researchers have found people stay more motivated when they set smaller, processed based goals - things like lifting slightly heavier weights over the course of a month or perfecting their form. Some research suggests that willpower is actually a limited resource that can be drained by different activities and circumstances throughout the day.
