21.01.2022 Days with nothing on but just family... nothing quite beats it! The past few weeks have been crazy! Preparing our van for sale and having the buyers unable to pickup due to borders closing along with others in line falling through. It’s been an emotional ride of ups and downs while learning to trust and relax in the unknown but knowing our Heavenly Father is in full control. Trusting we will have good news to share with you all soon! But in the meantime.. here is us and our 34week baby bump enjoying the sun @ Port Macquarie, New South Wales
20.01.2022 What an amazing journey it’s been here in Tasmania! From our first week (second picture) to our last. Our season here in this beautiful part of Australia is coming to an end..for now at least. We are heading over to the mainland and back up to our hometown to welcome our 4th baby into the world. Our decision to move our departure date to Monday was made incase NSW decide to shut boarders due to the outbreak in Victoria. We want to be safe rather then sorry. When we arrived ...in Tasmania we really had no clue what God had in store.. but looking back over these past 9 months it’s so amazing to see what the Lord has done! The beautiful friendships and connections, the amazing ministry opportunities and time with family. From damaging our caravan.. to completely pulling it apart and redoing it and all the blessings and provision along the way! This time here even with covid thrown in has been an incredible experience! We are sad to be leaving but also excited to see what God has for us next. We will miss you tassie but we will be back See more
18.01.2022 Happy 6th birthday to our beautiful daughter! What a light you are to everyone you meet.. you’re one incredible, spirited, fun, adventurous girl with such a gentle and caring heart. You see someone hurting and you immediately drop what you’re doing and lend a hand.. pray for healing and try your best to cheer them up. We are truly blessed to have a daughter like you! You have taught us so much as parents.. and thankfully you are one forgiving girl when we have messed up. Today you are 6 and what a fun day it’s been celebrating you and your life with us! We love you so much Olla! Happy Birthday big girl! @ Bay of Fires, Binalong Tasmania
15.01.2022 Lilydale Falls ~ you were stunning! Wet but stunning Tasmania definitely does waterfalls well. The track to these two falls follows the river and the whole walk is so amazingly peaceful! You really feel like you’re in paradise And even better is that you can park overnight for free at the reserve! #seetassie #freecampsaustralia #lilydalefalls #breathtaking @ Lilydale Falls Reserve Camping Area
10.01.2022 Yesterday this amazing boy turned 5!!!! It was very special being back in our home town to celebrate our amazing little man with family around us . Ari is one incredible son, brother and friend! We couldn’t be more proud of the young man he is growing up to be. We love you buddy! #happybirthday #5yearsold #travelingbirthdaykids
10.01.2022 Big News! Incase you missed our stories the other day.. We are unexpectedly upgrading our Home on Wheels! This was not something we planned on doing.. it actually came out of the blue and quite quickly! When we arrived back in Port I remember James saying I wonder if God has us back here for this season to upgrade!? I was like NO WAY! We had finally just finished our beautiful home and I had no intentions of selling but... God seemed to have bigger and better pla...ns . Before we knew it we were traveling 3 hours away to view a beautiful larger caravan with more space for our growing family. As we were driving to see it my head was spinning at the thought of possibly selling and upgrading but over the week with lots of prayer we became more and more excited at the prospect so decided to put out some feelers and see if we had any potential buyers for our Wilba well.. The response from our add was crazy!! Looks like we aren’t the only ones in love with Wilba so very soon she will be getting picked up by her new family and we will be moving into our new home on wheels! Hopefully all settled in before this baby decides to arrive! Excited for this next season ahead! For a sneak peak of our new van swipe >>> See more
07.01.2022 Today on our stories we shared how much we love these awesome Muk Mats- which happen to be on sale at the moment We also shared where we are currently exploring little hint...
07.01.2022 When the sun is shining caravan life is bliss (well... it’s bearable ). Traveling Tasmania in winter has been challenging #honestpost The past few days the damage we’ve found that the condensation is doing to our clothing is so disappointing.. The air temperature outside (freezing) and the temp inside the van is the perfect recipe for damp everything! Our morning routine now involves wiping every wall- inside cupboards and out! It really is a fight to stay positive when it’s... rainy day after rainy day...throw in the mix pregnant mumma and three energetic kids! We totally get why people follow the sun when traveling! You don’t realise the simple things you take for granted like warm sun and clean clothes . But it’s forcing us to dig deeper and find the joy in the little things..Like our first sunrise in forever that wasn’t hidden by clouds or a full day of dry undies with our potty training 2 year old! We are definitely looking forward to nicer weather but until then we will try to embrace and definitely pray for more grace Today our car is getting looked at as it’s been having a few hiccups.. once we know what needs doing/and it’s done we can enjoy exploring more of beautiful (cold) tassie before we head back to the mainland to have baby #4 #wecandothis
06.01.2022 We celebrated 26 years of life today! I would have never imagined by the age of 26 I would be married, living and traveling on the road with 3 (about to be 4) children, homeschooling and doing itinerant ministry! It’s amazing how life takes us on roads we would have never imagined.. but how fulfilling and meaningful they are. How the simple things really mean the most. Birthdays on the road look different then what we were once used to... but spending the day adventuring, eating out and going to Bunnings with my family was just perfect! It’s not what we have but who we have.. I am one blessed mumma to have the family I have around me.. my amazing husband and incredible babies I couldn’t dream of anything more! @ Cataract Gorge
05.01.2022 It’s such an amazing feeling being back on the road! Believe it or not this is the first time in 16 months of travel that we have actually done what normal traveling families do.. like move from one camp to the next (every few days) and see all the touristy things ect. Our travels up to date have looked very different.. we have come to an area with the purpose of connecting with a church or ministry and have based ourselves there for 3-6 months! This has had its positives..... like building friendships and connecting in with beautiful communities- which we have loved! But It feels quite surreal to be moving around and actually traveling! Especially after covid lock down and our van getting pulled apart and put back together. We are so grateful for this little season and last few months being a family of 5. Taking some time out to enjoy our surroundings and see some of Australia before we then transition into a whole new season of travel/ministry with a baby! Though I’m sure baby will fit in and life will be as normal... See more
04.01.2022 25 weeks with baby #4 and we have some exciting news! We have been praying about where this baby will be born and our plans will now mean we will be coming back through our home town Port Macquarie for the birth! Having family and friends around us will be very special! We will be leaving tassie 23rd July and making our way slowly back to NSW to welcome this little one into the world come September @ Gravelly Beach, Tasmania, Australia
03.01.2022 Chasing #waterfalls is one of our favourite things! The sound and force of the water cascading down these unique cubic-basalt rocks was just incredible! Dip Falls in Tasmania’s North West is a must see! @ Dip River Forest Reserve
