12.01.2022 URGENT WARNING -NEW ATO SCAM I need to make you aware of a new scam that's going around which seems to be tricking many people. The scam goes like this:... A person calls claiming to be from the ATO, and that you have an amount outstanding with them. They also ask who your account is (information they should already know if they really were from the ATO). After the call a different person calls you back claiming to be from your accountants practice (they even use the accountants phone number) and then try to convince you that you need to pay the amount owing. Please share this information with as many people you can think of.
