25.01.2022 Earlier this term our Year 1/2 children visited the Marine Discovery Centre. The children enjoyed exploring the beach collecting shells, learning about the ocean, different fish, sea creatures & building castles. They also explored Aboriginal Culture & how to play their instruments.

24.01.2022 The Premier of South Australia has announced a 6-day statewide lockdown commencing midnight Wednesday 18 November 2020. For the next tw...o days 19 and 20 November all Catholic Schools will be closed except for care of the children of essential workers. These are school closure days and, as such, no online learning will be provided. A small number of staff will be at each school site to provide supervised care to any family who requires this essential service. Schools will remain closed in the week commencing 23 November except for the care of children of essential workers. 18.01.2022 Today St John Bosco community warmly welcomed Uncle Tamaru to begin our NAIDOC Week celebrations with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony. #Always Was, Always Will Be. We recognise that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years.

14.01.2022 Last week in Performing Arts our children enjoyed a performance via zoom by a group from the Torres Strait Islands called Wyniss. The focus of the performance was to teach our children games, songs and dances that have been passed down to the performers by their grandparents and elders.

11.01.2022 Our Year 5 children participated in their three day activities program last week. The children participated in Hip Hop dancing, an excursion to Morialta Conservation Park and to Woodhouse Activity Centre. Over the three days the children participated in many activities that required team work and positive mindset to attempt new and challenging activities.

08.01.2022 Some of our Reception children visited Mrs Turner early this week to share their books made during book making. Mrs Turner enjoyed hearing their creative stories, we have authors and illustrators among us.
