17.01.2022 Our 2018 Presentation at The Nest Cinema and Cafe in Tumbarumba was well received by all. Unfortunately, none of the shortlisted writers were there to accept t...heir prizes. The winners have already been published on this facebook page and personally notified.. Present writers were enthralled by our guest speaker - well known published author Sulari Gentill who delivered her 6 rules for writing novels. It was lovely to see and chat with another well known published author, Trisha Dixon. Thank you also to Mr Michael Blendin, deputy principal at Tumbarumba secondary school, and his son and student for reading 2017s local winning entry by June Whittaker (Local published author) We really want to also thank Laura and her team (Sue) for hosting a wonderful service at her venue in the Cinema section of The Nest Cafe. Everyone enjoyed the bubbly and canopes set in this charasmatic atmoshere. THANKYOU TO ALL WHO ATTENDED, especially one of our judges who travelled down from Sydney to be amongst the literary minded from our corner of the world. Next year our presentation will be held in Mitta MItta, as the local prize winner - Felicy MacDonald is from there. THAT"S A WRAP! Now for 2019 competition...
