25.01.2022 Had fun doing this little project in town, Zimmah coffee was after extra storage to make room for the arrival of new roaster. So we cut the existing block work, installed lintels and added a sea container, and have continued on with the cladding of steel sheeting and fit the transition of building to container with heavy reveals and architraves to continue the look.

23.01.2022 Recently completed handrail and glass balustrade in Sandy Bay, this rail was tricky one from the start, we had to replace existing non compliant wire balustrade handrail to meet with todays requirements, to contend with we had over 4.5 meter drop over the deck, which has stringent requirements to meet, we had to make the existing wall so that it was unable to be climbed, the new handrail had to incorporate the previous handrail mounts and to top it all off also had to work with the curve of the wall. Absolutely stoked with the finished result. Big thanks to Jai Smith for his help with the glass panels and fitting, the fellas out at Stirlings for constantly delivering the best stainless available and Jess Scott Photography for her awesome pics again.

22.01.2022 A few pics from new Liveat store in Moonah! was good project to be involved in, and as always MJR-Builders Pty Ltd running a tight ship!! huge thanks to Weatherfoil for getting us over the line with a few rush last minute jobs as always!! Works consisted off, stainless steel hand railing out front, powder coated steel barriers for signage out front, kitchen benches, sinks, stainless steel wall sheeting, black powder coated aluminium plant boxes, ceiling screens and menu boards as well as main steel framed sub structure for the front main liv eat signage. 18.01.2022 Two story decking, steel supports handrail tabs and enclosed with a matrix paneling, working along with MJR.

17.01.2022 After completion of steel framing and handrailing last week, was sent these this arvo, steel framed deck came up tops with a coat of paint, all ready for boards and stainless balustrading wires.

16.01.2022 Replaced a damaged rail with new stainless steel late last week. For all steel work, fabrication, structural both on and off site and for heavy onsite lifts with hiab don't hesitate to contact us, no job too big or small.

14.01.2022 Stainless steel handrailing and balustrading this week came up spot on, replacing old bluestone wall and bringing barricading into regulation height. Cheers to the boys at roll fab for getting the top rail done and as always the fellas at sterling Derwent park for all stainless and balustrading supplies!

13.01.2022 Unfortunately we can't post the structural job from this weekend until the establishment has been completed, however here is some stainless for a handrail/ balustrading system we are working on this evening, hopefully install later this week! Yiewwwww happy Sunday!!!

12.01.2022 Maybe SJG welding, fabrication and tiling would of been a more appropriate name, seem to be getting more tiling jobs lately. Ha ha Anyway here's a couple recent jobs, 600 x 300 wall and floor for bathroom and a 600 x 600 in a hall way/ passageway. So for any welding, fabrication or tiling don't hesitate to message for a quote.

12.01.2022 Bit of a change of scenery this week from behind the welding shield and good to be part of the final fit out, with tiling and final coat on this fantastic floor by Transformation floor sanding. Amazing result. Awesome kitchen and bench top there by Aspect joinery

11.01.2022 Recently completed Malik Restaurant in North Hobart, we had an absolute blast working on this fit out and wish Ali Assi all the best on his new venture! The food here is absolutely amazing, good vibes, friendly atmosphere, get in and check the place out!!

10.01.2022 Progress under way at Zimmah coffee in Murray Street, what started off as a basic handrail has turned into a full steel feature wall and internal cavity slider for loading bay access, fantastic project to be on board and fantastic group of people to work with.

09.01.2022 Job completed in Richmond last year for Natural State Builders, structural steel frame PFC portal, we upgraded the purlin thickness to comfortably allow for the solar to be installed without risk of sagging, gutter brackets carefully thought out to allow for a minimalistic look and to span the open undercover area with ease. Absolutely meticulous build and one we take great pride in presenting.

08.01.2022 Busy busy this weekend with a stainless steel table, brushed finish, can't wait for the fit up this week, will end up with concealed legs built into sub structure and appear as floating BBQ table, photos don't do this justice, it looks amazing in natural light Also building box to conceal existing switch box, all ready for a prime, paint and install! Now for some beers

08.01.2022 Recently completed stairs and balustrade for JTS Builders. Came up absolutely spot on! Huge thanks to Simon from Zipp Powdercoating done an amazing job, the matt black powder coated stainless steel balustrade wires and stair stringers give an amazing contrast to the stainless steel fittings and fixtures and look amazing against the Tas oak treads!

07.01.2022 Was an absolute pleasure to work alongside the team at MJR-Builders Pty Ltd on the latest Botanica Bar fit out. Huge amount of work to get done in such short amopunt of time, and huge thanks to SJG apprentice Hugo McCullum for keeping up the pace, huge effort mate, much appreciated!
