22.01.2022 Another successful Annual General Pest treatment carried out today in Burnside, the owners were not really seeing to many pests but are vigilant enough to have it done on an annual basis. After treating the wall cavity and roof void there was quite a few Cockroaches flushed out and dying pretty quickly, a liquid spray was applied to the exterior as well to keep the Spiders at bay, this followed up with the internal treatment of Gels and Liquid spray. All protected for another... 12 months when we will do it again. As for any treatment we carry out, the safety and well being of everyone was considered, whilst the products and methods we use are extremely safe and very low toxicity to most, there are a few basic precautions taken just to be sure. Humans and Dogs were removed from the areas being treated, the dogs food and water bowls were emptied and removed from harm, and of course i was wearing my PPE. 16.01.2022 This morning I returned to inspect the Ant Job carried out at Tewantin on Tuesday, amazing results happening there.... Piles of dead ants all over the place, there are still a few tracking but the process is not instant which is why its so effective. Expecting by Saturday there will be no more activity. 13.01.2022 Not the Christmas visitors this client was expecting!! A full inspection exposed these very sneaky Termites which have made their way into the ensuite and were found tracking under the shower screen frame to make their way from the external wall across the room. A man made highway for them. Luckily the client saw something not right and called before the infestation was too large. We have carried out a treatment to the wall cavity to eliminate them and then we will install ...a chemical perimeter treatment in a few weeks to protect the house from re infestation. Be vigilant when it comes to protecting your investment. Get an inspection at least yearly, know your homes termite system and don’t introduce conditions that will attract termite activity onto your property. Prevention is better than cure. 13.01.2022 Another Ant treatment carried out at a house in Tewantin. These owners have had enough of these nuisance pests invading their home. It`s difficult to show just how many there were in a few photos, but trust me there was plenty. An external spray using the latest non repelling products will see these critters eliminate themselves through a transfer effect, sound familiar......... Social distancing people!! This will be there demise, by staying together in groups and sharing ...the treatment around it will end there nest. 07.01.2022 A bit of a read but please continue on...... I thought I’d share a few pics of a chemical barrier that I installed today. About 2 weeks ago the owner of this property found Termites had damaged a couple of stairs attached to a retaining wall close to the house. The client called and arranged for a Termite Inspection to be carried out, which was a great move. Unfortunately the live termites had been disturbed and were no longer visible to treat directly. Upon carrying out a ...full inspection of the property and providing a detailed report it was revealed that quite a few issues that were conducive to termite attack were found, including the fact that the house had no Termite protection in place. No live termites in the building were found but due to the fact that the house had no protection I advised that it was highly recommended some form of barrier be installed. A suitable plan based on the construction type was proposed which including the installation of a chemical barrier as well as a few required changes around the place. I was asked if it was really necessary as the house had been safe for many years. Fair question! The fact that termites had been so close to the property and it was unprotected (within 3 meters), I used the analogy that it was like car insurance, you pay for it but never really need it.... right up until something happens. If and when something ever happens your always glad you had it. Your home or even an investment property is your greatest asset, worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, and if invaded by termites and undetected for any length of time can do 10’s of thousands (if not more) worth of damages to the building and unlike your car....most insurers do not cover termite damage! My point is that for the sake of a relatively small amount each year to have an inspection it can be priceless if your risk of attack is greatly reduced. When carrying out an annual inspection we will do a thorough inspection of not just the house but the property. We provide a detailed report, state the facts and give our best advice to ensure your house is properly protected. The advice is always honest and based on what is in front of us at the time. As the weather warms up and the humidity increases Termites will be increasingly more active and looking for the next feed. Don’t let your place be on the menu. FYI: Pictures include concrete paths that abut the house being drilled and chemically injected, soil areas being trenched and footings cleaned, new soil Installed and chemically treated. All drill holes were filled and and concrete areas cleaned down and left the way they were found.......if not better.

04.01.2022 Well, we’ve seen (and felt) a dip in the overnight temperatures in the last week and with that we often see increasing Rodent activity around our properties which will continue into the cooler months. A few droppings around the BBQ, a bit of action going on in the roof during the night. These are sure signs that Rodents are looking for shelter and food in or close to your home. There are a few simple things you can do to reduce the attractiveness of your property to the rod...ents. 1. Avoid leaving pet food bowls out of a night 2. Keep lawns cut low and Trim trees that may be close to or lean on the house. 3. Remove stored items that can be used as a harbourage. 4. Ensure rubbish is sealed and taken out regularly. Once they find a home the numbers will increase and so does the potential for property damage and unsanitary conditions, so it is best to be prepared and eradicate as soon as possible.
