25.01.2022 Just some before and after of a 235 ridge cap re-bed and flexible point in Roofbond Tuscany that was completed by SJP down at Victor Harbor. The main house and the b&b. Nell and John are great people to deal with and I can highly recommend their Close Encounters Accommodation at Victor Harbor. Along with the chilled vibe and gardens there's a great view of Encounter Bay from there too.

25.01.2022 Another day later and the flexible pointing is done. ( multi colour flexi , it's going to be painted )These photos are after a pre-coat low pressure wash down.

24.01.2022 Another happy SJP customer. A full roof restoration in Reynella, finished in Woodland Grey. At the end of a cul de sac', the new roof became a great feature of this soon to be on the market house.

24.01.2022 The moss and lichen on this roof at Hallett Cove didn't stand a chance this week. The spitwater pressure cleaners we use with 4000psi are far superior than what you would find in a hardware store and the results show.

24.01.2022 The birds won't be nesting under the ridge caps on this roof down at Goolwa anymore. Full rebed and flexible point completed.

24.01.2022 It was a pressure cleaning a roof day today. 200 m2 of lichen and moss now gone.

23.01.2022 We finished off this roof at Hayborough, Victor Harbor yestetday. Strong, solid roof with only 2 broken tiles. That's rare ! When we flexible pointed the ridges we added collers (cap overlaps) which it didn't have before, this gives added strength for the cap to cap bonding process. Just one of those extras we do that makes a difference.

19.01.2022 Been a little while since I have done an update, been a bit head down bum up the last few weeks. Just a before and after shot of a pre house sale roof restoration I finished at Morphett Vale ( just off Elizabeth Rd) in Woodland Grey over the weekend. I quoted the job as a repoint, but after cleaning I decided to completely re-bed the ridgecapping then point it. It does pay to go that little bit further for a quality finish. The customer was very happy with the result.

18.01.2022 I completed this sunroom polycarbonate sheet replacement yesterday at Rosetta Village down in Encounter Bay using 'solasafe opal'. The old sheets were cracked and brittle and overdue for replacement. Joy the customer was very happy with the finished result.

18.01.2022 We completed a colour change on this circa1900 cottage last weekend, from Cottage Green to Windspray down at Kingston, South East SA. Also in the photos, you can see we changed the fence colour from green to white to compliment the cottage which is a inexpensive home upgrade we can also do.

17.01.2022 I just finished a roof sheet replacement on a new home. There were more holes in the sheet after the tv aerial was installed than required resulting in a pretty bad repair job using silicone and metal putty. The owners are very happy with the finished result.

17.01.2022 Ridge capping now re-pointed. The original was solid to the tiles still but starting to crack. So after grinding back the cap edges, then a pressure clean to remove moss, then adding collars on the cap overlaps it was finished in Roofbond dark brown flexible pointing compound.

15.01.2022 John at Encounter Bay was happy with the results yesterday after I replaced his old faded polycard sheets with the new clear suntuff.

15.01.2022 I'm currently doing a complete restoration of a previously restored roof ( while battling Adelaide's wet weather ) for my main contractor. Right next door is one I completed a month or so ago. This one will finish up great too.

14.01.2022 Another happy SJP Roofing customer at The Range. (Top of the hills from Mc Laren Vale ) This roof had a full restoration including re-bedding of all the ridge caps. Finished off in Jasper. Also painted the storage shipping container which now blends in better with the property.

14.01.2022 Another recent roof restoration completed by SJP Roofing. After pressure cleaning we replaced 140 tiles and re-bedded all 120 ridge cap tiles along with finishing the capping with flexible pointing compound. This one is finished in Manor Red. We can coat your roof in all of the available colourbond colours too.

13.01.2022 Over 20 years of moss covered concrete paths where almost like new after I cleaned them at this O'Sullivan Beach house. The "customer" was suprised with the results . You always have to keep your Mum happy.

10.01.2022 Another completed roof restoration by SJP. This roof had been repointed over the original ridge mortar ( yellow Brighton lite ) and was showing it's age. It took a bit of work to take off the 2 layers of mortar, I wasn't prepared to repoint it a 3rd time and have the ridges look really wide. It's finished off in Windspray roof membrane.

10.01.2022 G'day. Like everyone else, at SJP Roofing we are back into the full swing of things after the Crissy break. Hope Christmas and New Year was a good time for everyone. We are still going strong producing quality roof restorations and repairs and are not planning on stopping anytime soon. So, for repairs or restorations, from the bush to the sea, remember SJP.

09.01.2022 I finished this roof in Woodland Grey a couple of weeks ago in Hallett Cove. 100+ tiles changed with 3 hip end repairs and a full repoint. Winter doesn't stop roof restoration, it just slows the process a bit due to slower product drying times. Even a sunny Sunday is a workday in wintertime.

08.01.2022 Another recently completed 320m2 colorbond roof restoration in Woodcroft. The roof was faded that much, after pressure cleaning, there was literally none of the old Woodland Grey colour left. Another happy customer, finished in Woodland Grey.

08.01.2022 Just a little repair completed at Hallett Cove yesterday with Suntuff. The old polycarb sheets had definitely lived a tough life on the hilltop.

07.01.2022 The finished result. Freshly coated in Manor Red roof membrane. That's, 1 anti fungal coat, 1 primer coat and 2 colour coats.

07.01.2022 Just a small section of roof with before and after pics of a restoration that we recently did for one of the well known roofing companies I subcontract for on Hindmarsh Drive, Victor Harbor. (Opposite the "Whale Binoculars" on the corner) It had been restored many years ago with a quick pointover of the old ridge capping and was well overdue for a renew. We couldn't leave it like that, so after pressure cleaning, all of the old capping was removed, caps were relayed on new mortar and flexible pointed the following day. Of course doing it right this time took a little bit longer but with a great result and a happy owner. Then we finished it of with Acyrloc Roof Membrane in Monument.

06.01.2022 Next process of ridge capping with the caps on new mortar and collars pointed on the cap overlaps which were not done before.

05.01.2022 Another satisfied customer. Ceilings where damaged by water getting in through ridge capping that had seen better days and numerous patch-ups hadn't fixed it on this house at Christies Beach. 120 caps taken off and edges tidied up by grinding off the old mortar, re-layed on new mortar then pointed in Roofbond light green pointing compound.

03.01.2022 I completed a 170 m2 full restoration today in Hackham. Cleaned, 65 tiles changed, ridge capping re-bedded, flexible pointed then finished off with Dulux Woodland Grey. It can be done in a couple of days but allowing mortar and flexible pointing to dry properly, and not rushing, gives a better finish.

02.01.2022 I started the restoration process on this roof in Elizabeth today. I will be doing some progress updates as it comes along. What do they say ??? Rome wasn't built in a day....
