17.01.2022 Who would think one simple necklace could give such a headache I made a prototype before xmas and it was sent on as a giveaway to one of my customers who had made a large Christmas order. She loved it, she lost it, she asked for another about 6 weeks ago... but I never took a photo of the prototype so just couldnt replicate it to how she liked it. Got it right this arvo! And its actually an enhanced and much better version. Thats the lengths I will go to make my return ...clients happy. I have been so lucky to work with some wonderful people who have brainstormed with me to create just what they want. 15.01.2022 Yesterday was my dads birthday, and he is a mans man. However lately he has been suffering with sore feet and legs and bad circulation. I made him this magnetic hematite bracelet to aid circulation and blood flow, also finished with some natural stone to release any negative energy (we all know Dads can get a bit grumpy at times). When I placed it on him I was sure he was only humouring me, however he has decided to give it a go and see if it truly does help his aching feet a...nd circulation. Good on you dad! Embracing not only my way of life, but also believing in me. Today will be a day of not much as I have managed to do my back ... Ive had trouble with it in the past, so Im currently lying skin bare on my Shakti Mat. If you havent tried these, I highly recommend them. Its like acupuncture without the needles, it hurts at first, then your back goes warm as the blood flow increases and I often fall asleep on it. 15.01.2022 A beautiful and inspirational client made a special custom order about 6mths ago. She is also a good friend who suffered an ABI that left one side of her body slightly debilitated. She wanted the toggle clasp, she loves the toggle clasp, but struggled to undo it with both hands. Today I made an adjustment for her, instead of being strung on strong beading thread, I put a beading stretch cord in. This allows her to still have the illusion that the silver toggle is functional, whilst making the essential oil diffuser bracelet much easier for her to wear. Im sure this will bring a smile to her face. - Shell

13.01.2022 Clear coat and handles to go. I had a small plan as to where this was going, but as it progressed it took on a life of its own. The cabinet itself was in awful disrepair... I guess thats why I got it for free. Its taken well over a month of prep work before I even thought of hitting it with a paint brush. Its certainly Boho, its Eclectic, its one of a kind. This piece will be for sale in the next few weeks, and would look stunning in a Shabby Chic/Boho setting.... Would even make an extraordinary Altar for the Wicca/Pagan Community. - Shell

Bay of Martyrs, West of Peterborough, was spectacular early Sunday morning. A bit of beach time is so grounding and relaxing, so thankful we can visit these wonderful places again

Ive still been busy with projects, but took a step back from social media for a bit (we all need a break for our own sanity I think). Recently I tanned a calf hide, Im halfway through painting a cabinet (that I intend to keep), giving a childs high chair a spruce up and putting pieces together for a new little project Ive been working on. 09.01.2022 A new addition to The Austin Collection. This Mens/Unisex adjustable necklace looks so brilliant. Incorporating Faux leather made into an adjustable strap, Tibetan Silver spacings and Wooden Mala Beads it looks amazing. Unfortunately all my mates I have approached to model my mens line have declined, so you just get a pic of me, with a goofy grin. I didnt wear makeup as I believe that would take away from the mens line... however I promise next time I model mens jewellery... 06.01.2022 These Cheese Boards will make for a wonderfully unique addition to your kitchen and table service. As we emerge from lockdown, entertaining friends and family will be high on all our lists. Nothing brings us closer than sharing some delicious Cheese with an accompanying bottle of Wine or two. Add some Crusty Rye Sourdough and some bread Dipping Oil and you have a meal fit for a King! All natural, ethically sourced from a local wood merchant. The sizeable Pine and Cypress is ...grown and cut on site at a property in The Otways. Sourcing locally helps small business, whilst knowing that the timber is free from Pesticide residues, wood treatments and varnishes. Cheeseboards have been air and heat dried, however, still have that unique pine/woody smell Nb* In all food preparation, whether in private kitchens or in the food industry, good hygiene is one of the most important ways of preventing the spread of illness through food. It is recommended to thoroughly wash boards with sanitiser and air dry.

03.01.2022 Spring is upon us, and with the weather a little warmer, Cody and I have been out hiking! Although still busy with my handmade jewellery range, its been lovely to take a break and head off the beaten track. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful resource such as The Otways on our back doorstep, so finding hidden waterfalls and having Cody pose in magnificent surrounds is the perfect way to exercise and stretch the legs. These shots are from 2 different trips, one to the Glasgow Falls and the other was Wongarra and Forrest. Live and love your life - Shell
