25.01.2022 4th place - Paint Bred Gelding 2 years

25.01.2022 So we round out our day 2 of showjumping with power and speed! With a clean power section, we went into the jump off with a let loose attitude. With a small rider error causing a refusal we finished on four faults to place 9th in the class. With mix results in the bag, and an exceptionally competitive group, a few rails we finished in an overall 12th spot! ... Amiteal has learned amazing things, and Earned some amazing skills and made and solidified some fantastic friendships. We round our first states with: 7th overall in the jumping equitation 12th overall in the showjumping. Amiteal has made the decision to move up a class to the 70cm come the next month, some 6 months before she has too. She is over the moon and can not be happier. Thank you to all that helped her get here.

24.01.2022 While Mum is away - Dad gets to play! Foal spam!

24.01.2022 A very trying day for our youngest rider! But managed some really great shots. Picked herself up mentally and tried all three rounds, SJs Champignon carrying our girl into new moments of growth! Very proud little lady!

21.01.2022 With the ups come the downs and heartbreaks, the should have, could have and did nots. We thought we were prepared going into day one of the showjumping but small heartaches along the way build resilience and personality. In our AM5 - we managed to clear all the jumps, except the last one to finish on 4 faults and place 12 out of 17.... In our Grand Prix we went clear on the first round, and headed into the second round, cleared the jumps... except the last one again. But not advancing to the third round. Finishing in 7th The heartache of disappointment and the chilling reality that 4 faults is not a bad ride, just showjumping. Picking ourselves up we are heading into tomorrow with no expectations, just ready to end the run on a nice and clear round before we head home to some much needed rest.

20.01.2022 And this is why he has been sacked as the babysitter!

13.01.2022 So we round out the state show with some great results! Lurch: State Champion Stallion 4yrs and over Reserve State Champion Led Hack... Latte: Reserve State Champion 2yr old HUS Reserve State Champion Youth Paintbred Gelding 4th Paintbred Gelding But the real cracker was the behaviour of both the boys. Stabled in small yards for the week we managed some sneaky outings to the arena. Stallion/Gelding together running in the paddock and playing. Couldnt ask for better behaviour from either. Special thanks to Aimee Wood for sacrificing her week to join us. Nisey wood for sacrificing the living arrangements and looking after our little foal. To Jason for managing me all week and stepping up when needed. To the youngest two human members of the paint stud who have behaved so well and enjoyed the week away. To everyone else who helped us get here - thank you!

10.01.2022 Photo Credit: Outlaw Photos Dalby 2019 Enjoyed a fantastic show, returning to the heritage of our very own stallion GJG Tuxs Mustang aka Lurch. Came away with both class wins and top two placings! Enjoyed the day with all the horses from Lurchs stud, and fantastic riding by Ian Slater from S&N Soquili Lodge! ... Special mention to Jodi Knapton for lending us Pringles for the day.

09.01.2022 Today we embarked on a fantastic day Redlands Horse and Pony Club for a spectacular day of jumping. The little lady and Rain rose to a new level tackling the 70cm 12 and unders. Her first day on the new height. And... she had some stellar results. She placed third in the AM5 below! Not only did she tackle the new height but some very slippery ground! Her noble steed kept her safe and they finished in a respectable 3rd place and the top of the 4 faults.

08.01.2022 Day Two of the 2020 State Chmapionships are done and dusted. Amiteal went into the round holding 5th place. A good start but all with tough competition and a small gaff in the task for the equitation saw them place 12th in the class. So with all classes done and dusted we found out the 2020 Jumping Equitation with:... Round One: 7th Round Two: 4th Round Three: 11th Final placing: 7th overall. One very proud little girl, one exhausted old man enjoying the leisure of a stable. Some amazing memories, some wonderful friendships built and great foundations heading into the Showjumping on day 3 and 4. Time to rest up for the 08:00 class start tomorrow.
