11.01.2022 SAVS VIRTUAL SKATE CHALLENGE To provide Victorian SPEED SKATERS with an opportunity for some competitive fun, Skate Australia Victoria Speed (SAVS) held a... VIRTUAL SKATE CHALLENGE from Monday 26th October to Sunday 1st November. This challenge ended with an incredible GRAND TOTAL of 3657km!! Sk8house Speed took out podium positions in all three divisions with Sk8house coach, Daryl Hunter, taking FIRST PLACE and bragging rights in the Masters Divisions. BIG SHOUT OUT to one participant in particular - Sk8house's very own, 10 year old Josh Clayton, who managed to rack up 327.44 km over the week. He was pipped at the post for the winning spot in the Juniors Division, but we could not be prouder of the tenacity and determination shown by Mighty Mouse Joshy. It was a huge effort by everyone and such a great way to work our way back out of lockdown. Top 3 final results: JUNIOR 1. Jayden Carvalho (SS) - 328.7km 2. Josh Clayton (Sk8) - 327.44 3. Wouter Oosthuizen (Sk8) - 265 SENIOR 1. Daniel Bithell (CSC) - 83.57 2. Indy Johnson (CSC) - 65.9 3. Darcy Miller-Stapleton (Sk8) - 49.03 MASTERS 1. Daryl Hunter (Sk8) - 198.08 2.
