23.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Hope you are all well, I am pleased to advise you that the Dome will be open on Monday. Danny and Brad will advise you about the training. I have had to book the floor as they will not allow casual entry. I will give more details of the paying procedures later tonight. It will still be $8 per session, I just need to work out the easiest way to do it. Regards Pauline

23.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Guidelines to be used during training and the Skate WA Covidsafe plan will be sent out today to all Club Reps, these are to be followed along with any guidelines set by the Venue and the WA Health Department. There will also be a Register of attendance. This needs to be completed and returned to me after the conclusion of the training session. It is important that anyone that is feeling unwell does not attend training sessions. Have a great day, stay safe. Regards Pauline

23.01.2022 Hi Everyone, The National Speed Executive held a zoom meeting on Saturday 8th August, after a great deal of discussion it was unanimously agreed that due to Covid19 it was not an option to conduct Speed Nationals in January. We have not cancelled at this point in time; the National Executive will meet again in January to reassess the situation. I understand that skaters will be disappointed but we need to take everything into account especially the health and well being of ...skaters, officials and supporters. 19.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Hope you are all well and staying safe. This is a quick update on the Speedome. As you know a sheet of roofing blew off during the storm we had on the long weekend. Venueswest are trying to engage someone that can roll the sheeting needed to repair the roof, not a simple job and needs a specific machine. They have assured me they are trying to get it done as soon as possible. Regards Pauline

14.01.2022 Hi All. Our state championships is comping up in a few week, skate WA will be running a small canteen.. if you are wanting to order forms will be handed out tonight an Wednesdays training an then on Monday if you can get them back to us ASAP that would be great

08.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Just letting you all know that Rollerskating is on ABC ME & ABC iview TV tonight. It was filmed in South Australia. Watch kids of today try and figure out how to use a cassette tape in a ghetto blaster .... For 1980s kids the local rollerskating rink was the place to be! Roller disco, limbo and speed races all brought in the crowds. 12 year old artistic skater Tammy Bryant won the 1989 Australian National Artistic Rollerskating Championship, and then at 13, she became the youngest ever skater to represent Australia at the World Championships in Germany, competing against adults! Our modern artistic rollerskaters, Matthew and Charli, have to learn how to train and practice 1980s style!
