24.01.2022 The Flinders Link Project has achieved a major milestone, completing the installation of 20 steel beam bridge girders which form the base of the elevated bridge... deck. The steel girders range between 30-50 metres in length and form the 10 spans installed as part of the project. Each span required two bridge girders to be lifted into place, each using two cranes. In total, 1,550 tonnes of steel was used to construct the 20 steel beam bridge girders, and all were fabricated in South Australia from Australian steel. The Flinders Link Project will extend the existing Tonsley rail line to the Flinders Medical Centre, creating new connections to the health, innovation and education precincts.
24.01.2022 The Gawler East Link Road is opening next month! This is yet another important project being delivered by the Marshall Liberal Government which will improve s...afety and efficiency for Gawler and Barossa commuters. The $67.7 million project has supported 110 local projects during construction, and will make it much easier for people travelling from Springwood, Kalbeeba and the Southern Barossa to bypass the Gawler town centre and get to Main North Road. Heres a sneak peek from behind the scenes a couple of months ago, which shows just how much work has been going on!
24.01.2022 Earthworks, retaining walls, fences, site access, levels, building pads. Remote locations. When you need accurate drawings so construction crews have everything they need on site get SKETSCH to draw up the plans. A few days in the design office can save days of travel and construction delays. With proper design there is no excavation at the base of the tower.

23.01.2022 Major works for the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Torrens Street and Crozier Road, Victor Harbor will commence on Thursday, 5 March. Along... with the construction of the roundabout, the works include the modification of existing kerb, gutter and footpaths, installation of LED lighting, new road construction and resurfacing, pedestrian refuges, and line marking. The upgrade will assist to address crashes and improve overall safety at the intersection. The majority of works are expected to be undertaken between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, however some weekend work and night work may be required. All roads will remain open to traffic during construction, with a 25km/h speed restriction in place while workers are on-site. Works are expected to be completed by mid-2020, weather permitting.
22.01.2022 An existing gravel park with historical landmark. Upgraded to sealed parking, caravan parks, lighting and safe pedestrian access.
22.01.2022 You may see others offering rendered images outsourced offshore. They are nice pictures. When you need engineered plans and calculations contact SKETSCH. There is still a rendered 3D image and building model, but there is also the rest of the structure, reinforcement, connections, building code requirements, decades of experience and much more. 21.01.2022 This may look like a photo of a street with lovely autumn leaves on trees (and it is) but what is interesting about this street is that it's Mackirdy St, Fulham..., which has recently been resurfaced using asphalt made out of used car tyres! This road has about 200 tonnes of crumbed rubber asphalt mix, or tyres from 600 passenger vehicles! An added bonus is that because it's crumbed rubber it's much less likely to crack like traditional asphalt mixes. See more

14.01.2022 We’re excited to announce that the hybrid+ design is the preferred option to deliver the Torrens to Darling...ton (T2D) Project. This solution will see a combination of tunnels, lowered and ground-level motorways, as well as overpasses/underpasses at key intersections. The hybrid+ design will minimise business, community, social and heritage impacts and, once complete, is expected to save up to 24 minutes of travel time between the River Torrens and Darlington. This final and most complex section of the North-South Corridor, is South Australia’s largest infrastructure project to date and will deliver a 78km, non-stop traffic-light-free connection between Gawler and Old Noarlunga, with links to the port and airport precincts. For more information and to register for project updates, visit www.dit.sa.gov.au/torrenstodarlington
