22.01.2022 Crystal Dunn is a member of the USWNT soccer team. She is really good and starred as a left defender in the last World Cup while shutting down many of the other... teams best attackers. What is really cool about her story is that she was surprisingly cut from the 2015 World Cup. It devasted her to the point where she wanted to quit playing. This meme is a list of quotes that she share in a video about her mindset coming out of the disappointment and how she bounced back. It is a great lesson on how to handle adversity, moving on, and accepting and embracing lifes challenges. This hasnt stopped some of the members making the most of the outdoors by having non contact mock relays to medicine ball work outs with the best view of the sea. 16.01.2022 It has been two weeks since the Redcliffe War Memorial Pool closed due to the world wide pandemic Coronavirus. We have been very fortunate to have many of our R...LSC club swimmers maintain their fitness and keep active. With encouragement from their parents and carers as well as motiviational words, videos and plans from their coaches @Wanda Drew and Jacqui Beach via social media and messages, the kids continue to have fun and keep their goals alive. All workouts were performed within family members in private homes, gardens and pools, while others have been outside within their individual families, where they have maintained a socially acceptable distance from the public when exercising as per Government regulations in Queensland. Here are just a few pictures of what they have been up to in their self isolation training. Note some were done before stage 1 or 2 restrictions came in place. Lets keep this positive. See more

02.01.2022 How good was it to start back racing on the weekend!! Once again our Redcliffe kids tore up the pool and all the work they have been doing during Covid is paying off. Stronger cores, better turns and great technique. Im really proud of all of them. We have 4 and abit months left in 2020 and instead of feeling like it has been a useless year, Im looking at it as I am sure the best is yet to come.
