04.01.2022 WE NEED TO VENT! Theres nothing that grinds my gears more then how unregulated the beauty industry is! Further more home businesses performing ADVANCED SKIN TREATMENTS such as; Microdermabrasions, Skin Needling & Chemical peels WITHOUT A DIPLOMA OF BEAUTY THERAPY!!!... There is a reason why we have to put ourselves though beauty school; to learn anatomy and physiology, learn skin biology and so much more. We are able to use this equipment as we have done EXTENSIVE training and learning to know why these concerns are happening in the skin and how to treat it!!! It’s not as simple as buying a cheap machine off EBay, learning a tutorial on YouTube. If you are treating a client with basic knowledge you learnt off the Internet you are lying to your client. What if that client has an adverse event? Do you know how to treat and rectify this? No? Then they try and take matters further because you have done damage! Will your insurance cover it when you make a claim and they see you ARE NOT QUALIFIED? No! So clients when you are looking to find a skin clinic to help you with your skin concerns do your research! Check if they have a diploma of beauty therapy? Ask what they did previously as a beauty job? Here at Skin Enhance we are FULLY QUALIFIED. Luisa 1 year out of beauty school after getting her diploma. Working at Skin Enhance she has furthered her knowledge and skills. Even after being graduated Skin Enhance has put her in more training classes to make sure her skin knowledge is of a high standard.
