09.01.2022 If you look at the percentages you really don’t need a 50 spf . 15 or 30 physical will do the same job but without the harsh chemicals that need to be used in a 50 spf . The difference in the numbers is not how much more protected you are but in fact it’s your burn time ! So if your skin starts to burn in 10 mins you have 10x15 =150minutes with spf 15 to reapply and 10x30=300 minutes with spf 30 ! The number does not really mean your more protected and of course swimming ...will alter this again .
