25.01.2022 Our Facial Scrub incorporates a combination of chemical (AHA & BHA) and physical exfoliants (fine bamboo granules) to help loosen and remove dead epidermal skin cells. "Since lockdown started its given me time to reflect and fall in love with my skincare routine! One ingredient that Ive religiously used for years now is Vit C! This stuff is legendary as it addresses so many issues like - rough texture, acne scars, fine lines and dullness. Due to its rich source of anti-oxidants it works to neutralise free radicals, aid in the regeneration process of your skin, boost collagen levels and lastly inhibit melatonin production to help fade dark spots or hyperpigmentation. Make sure your Vit C comes in the most stable and effective form- ascorbic acid (aka L-ascorbic acid) and packed into bottles that are dark as Vit C easily breaks down when exposed to light or air."

25.01.2022 Have you ever wondered why Vitamin C is considered a morning serum? Theres certainly no law against using Vitamin C at night, but youll get the most benefit out of using it during the day since its antioxidant properties act as a shield to deflect pollution and other environmental aggressors. Another reason we use it in the morning is to avoid mixing it with retinol (Vitamin A). The two ingredients work best in different skin environments, so using them at the same time may make both less effective and cause irritation.

06.01.2022 St John of God Berwick Hospital recently took on a large number of COVID-19 positive patients. When they received these patients, they put out a call for nurses to volunteer to work in the COVID-19 ward and had 60 of their nurses put their hands up. Working in a COVID-19 ward has both a heavy physical and emotional drain on people, and because of that, SJOG Berwick assembled self-care packs for their COVID-19 ward caregivers so that they remember to take care of themselves as well as they take care of their patients. Here are a few golden rules we live by: Vitamin C should always be the first serum used after cleansing. Vitamin C and Vitamin A should not be used together - use one in the morning and one at night. ... Alternate Vitamin A and Exfoliant serums on different nights. 03.01.2022 The eyes are the first place recommended to begin an anti-aging regime as this skin is very delicate due to lack of oil glands. Our light-weight Eye Treatment is specially designed using Vitamins A and K to revitalise delicate skin around the eyes as well as to target dark circles.
