14.01.2022 Hey guys.... some of you might already know me or heard of my beauty business Skin Deep by Tina. The focus of my message today is to give you some insight on... how facials have evolved over the years but have not always been as effective (results wise) and certainly not always value for money! Truthfully how many of you have booked an appointment or received a gift voucher for a deluxe facial at a reputable spa treatment salon and have come out thinking..really, was that it!! I know I have on many occasions! I say that from experience as I have been a beauty therapist for 32 years, starting in the industry at 18 years of age and having the opportunity of using some of the most prestigious international brand names in the beauty industry. What I have learnt over the years however, is no matter how expensive the product is and all the modern-day technology used, from my experience the most beneficial and crucial part of the treatment is the facial massage. Face massages today seem to be getting shorter and shorter. The massage stimulates the muscles and lymphatic system. Every area of the body responds to facial massage. We have 300 pressure points on the face, which relate to every part of the body, so when you have a good face massage you impact every organ. Muscles in the body are attached in some way to the bone or ligament but in the face, muscles are attached to each other, so they work as a web. By exercising just one you impact all of them - the results are incredible in a very short period of time. This is where "Skin Deep by Tina" differs from any other spa treatment salon.
