12.01.2022 As many of you would know I don’t share a lot of personal info on social media however after my recent post regarding my own injectable treatments, I thought I would share this with you all x I have received numerous comments and messages regarding ‘the work I have done on my face’, and yes there are both positive and negative feedback as to be expected. What I wanted to share with you all is that I’m a big believer in doing things that make YOU feel good about yourself. In ...the profession and industry that I work in, I see many different people for an array of treatments. Some of these treatments target certain issues that people are concerned about, whether it be acne, pigmentation, uneven skin tone, the list goes on. Some clients just like to feel pampered and chose a treatment that is relaxing and offers them some downtown from their busy lives. When it comes to treatments such as Botox, filler, thread lifts or any other facial altering procedure, they share no difference to those, previously mentioned. These treatments are a decision that the client has made themselves to change a feature that they are unhappy with. People have the right to make these personal choices, to feel happy and confident within themselves and to do so without judgement or negative feedback from others. These procedures are not vain- they really are no different from dying your hair a different colour, the makeup or clothes that you wear or a tattoo on your body. It’s personal choice For me personally, I too like the hundreds of clients I see, like to look confident in their appearance. The stigma attached to body altering treatments is thankfully becoming more accepted and I think this is great! I have many people say to me ‘oh why would you do that to your face, it’s fake, or vain’, but for me it’s not. I have been receiving these treatments since the early age of 20 and in saying that have kept things conservative and subtle. Just because you may have ‘work’ done to maintain or achieve a certain look doesn’t mean you have to go overboard. All in all, I just wanted to say, do what makes YOU happy and always be kind xx
