23.01.2022 FACTS : I always want to know more of the truth when it comes to skincare - not just what online search engines want us to see/hear. Here are some VERY interesting facts: EVERYTHING is a chemical. EVERYTHING. There is no such thing as Chemical Free. Its literally impossible. What you need to be CAREFUL of is DOSE and APPLICATION Something can be 100% safe when it is applied but deadly when it is ingested (thanks for the reminder D.Trump ) ... TOXICITY doesnt depend on the chemical - it is all related to the DOSE (we cant live without water but too much can kill you) NATURAL doesnt mean safe. If 0.1% of an ingredient is NATURAL in your product, it can be called NATURAL ORGANIC is meaningless in many cases. The ORIGIN must be ORGANIC to be labelled organic. For skincare and many others, the source DOES NOT determine safety. It can still be TOXIC PARABENS are preservatives. In MANY cases we NEED them to stop the growth of bacteria. When they are approved and clinically tested to be safe - the RISK of REMOVING is HUGE. There have been more public recalls for microbial contamination in the last 3 years vs 25 years as a result of FEAR MONGERS suggesting we remove all parabens. Many of these words are used frequently in advertising skincare products and are misleading to say the least LESSON FOR TODAY: Do your research!!!
22.01.2022 A couple of B&As of my journey with Rodan+Fields skincare Before was a few weeks into starting R+F products & me taking a selfie on what I called back then a really good skin day (I was too self conscious to take a photo on bad face day!) After, 5 months later, is me now putting on a happy face with Ross River At least my skin feels good!!!!... My skin is not miraculously perfect (think that requires surgery ) but it is sooo much better than what it was. I still have a way to go yet but I am definitely heading in the right direction
