12.01.2022 PRP therapy involves injecting concentrated platelets in a small amount of plasma into the area of treatment. Platelets release growth factors that stimulate repair and healing of damaged tissue, encouraging collagen growth. The therapy has the potential to improve the appearance of the skin's colour, elasticity, tone & thickness. It helps plump the skin, reducing lines & wrinkles. A small amount of blood is drawn from the arm & placed in a blood tube which is spun in a machi...ne to separate the cells. The plasma is injected into the face, neck or décolletage.
