It might be time to check the expiry date because if it is out of date, the effectiveness of the product will deteriorate. With regard to skin care, some signs that it’s time to replace your products are: changes in smell... changes in colour changes in texture product is causing skin irritation the obvious one is to read the used by date but we often forget this.
