25.01.2022 Just in we now have stock of the Go Pro WiFi backpack and remote control kit as well as car chargers, Skeleton cases and lots more. New stock of AltiTracks, Viso II should arrive Tuesday so keep an eye on the online shop or drop into the shop at the DZ. Plenty of Batteries for Audibles and visuals in stock.

22.01.2022 The new Go Pro Wi Fi BacPac does not need an existing WiFi network. The Go Pro BacPac creates its own ad hoc wifi network and allows you to remote control the camera from up to 180m in ideal conditions. The Kit is great value and comes with both a new skeleton case back and a waterproof case back to accept the wifi BacPac.

22.01.2022 NEW GO PRO 3 4K Video Some exciting news if your into your Go Pro video. Go pro have just announced a new model , the Go Pro 3 and its stunning. 30% smaller, 25% lighter but now includes built in WiFi and comes with a WiFi remote. But thats not the best part. This is now an amazing 4K video camera, what does that mean ? Well 4K is four times the high definition resolution of 1080p (1920x1080 pixels) ... The new Go Pro 3 will shoot up to 4096 x 2160 pixels. We cant wait to try it out.

Go Pro have released their Iphone / Ipad app that lets you remote live view video and remote live control your Go Pro, or multiple Go Pro's, that have a WiFi BacPac attached. WiFi BacPac available and in stock at the Skydive Gear Shop. We will do a review o the App and let you know how it goes.

01.01.2022 Go Pro WiFi BacPac Review. OK here is our short review on the new Go Pro WiFi BacPac. ... You can see in the blue area on the picture the BacPac sitting on the back of the Go Pro. Very slim and you get a new back door to accommodate the BacPac, both Skeleton and waterproof. We used the waterproof door. Setup. A little fiddly as you have to first do firmware upgrades on the BacPac, the remote button and your camera. We had to re try a few times but eventually everything updated. Once we got over the setup the unit couldn't have been simpler. We stuck a GoPro on the strut of a Cessna and went for a spin around the DZ and used the new Remote to take some pics. The unit performed flawlessly. Basically whatever you would normally see on the screen of the Go Pro you now see on the screen of your remote control button. We were able to change the camera from stills to video from single shot to 3 shot burst mode all with a few clicks of the remote. We think the new BacPac will be very popular and remember the unit creates its own ad hoc WiFi network so you dont need any other equipment to remote control your Go Pro. We cant wait for the iphone app to be released.
