08.01.2022 A year has passed, gone so quickly...feels like I only told you days ago telling you how much I loved you, wish you were still here so I could tell you everyday. Coming home to see family and friends feels so different without you but seeing your beautiful little Harpa makes the trip worthwhile every time, she is growing so quickly and talks of you often...she reminds me so much of you with her gentle ways and loving nature. We miss you so much baby girl but i know we will meet again and I look forward to that day. You were and still are an inspiration to many LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART SKYE

Thankyou for becoming more aware of MND, most of all Thankyou all so much for supporting Skye, yes she is a beautiful young women, many would say an angel put on this earth for a reason... There are already so many angels in heaven, she is needed here. WE WILL FIGHT FOR HER ALL THE WAY

01.01.2022 This page has been set up for my daughter Skye Edwards, as some may already know, Skye has recently been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Recently loosing her father Dean almost 9 months ago, watching him slowly slip away from her and her siblings.... Now Skye has to endure that journey herself knowing what to expect.... It's so heartbreaking as a parent to be so helpless at such a difficult time. Skye is currently 25 years of age, a mother of baby Harpa... 16 months old.... Skye has had so many well wishes from family and friends.... It has all become so overwhelming for her. Everyday breaks our hearts to see the sadness behind her beautiful blue eyes, and wish we could see her beautiful smile light up a room as it has on a regular occurrence. As a mother I am reaching out to the public to get behind and support Skye through this difficult time. We have set up an appeal through Westpac Bank called SKYE BLUE APPEAL, any donations are greatly appreciated or just a kind message that your thoughts are with her.
