25.01.2022 Today was a huge day for us, with a very early start! We headed off to Gundagai with Swish, Apollo and Lilo for the Australian Warmblood Horse Association (AWHA) Ltd NSW stop. We presented Skyfall Licence to Kill (Lilo) first in the led female under 1yo class. The judges loved her, with her receiving a overall score of 88.57% which earned her a Platinum award!! Lilo received very high scores with the overall impression being that she is a classy filly with lots of potential. ... Lilo is out of SE Godswalk (Swish)- Kinnordy Gymbello (Astek Stud) X Khoza View, and By Laptop (International Horse Breeders Pty Ltd) - Lordeo X Candy. This is one of the first foals we have bred and for her to go out and hold her own today is a huge win for us, and it makes all the hard work behind the scenes worth it! SE Godswalk (Swish) was also presented to be classified, which she passed and was accepted into the Warmblood Performance Stud book. Swish is now turned out to grow us another super baby, by Higgins (Equus Australia), this time so we hope this one turns out just as stunning! A huge thank you to Alison Appleby for allowing us to use your facilities so we were able to present our horses! Also Thank you to Silvia Ahamer, Jennie Loriston and Joanne Virikios for coming down and making this a momentous occasion!! Thank you to Allison and her team at Ovens Valley Equine for making this all possible, and for making the sometimes tough but very rewarding path of breeding slightly easier. Now we do it all again in a few weeks time when the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia makes a stop here to assess the other foals!!

25.01.2022 Gee and Vespa wish you all a happy Easter! Stay safe and eat too much chocolate #skyfallparkequestrian

25.01.2022 Tux and I spent two days pretending to be show jumpers. The highlight of the weekend was Tux having his first 1.04m start and jumping like a star to just have one rail down. A huge thank you to Border Districts Showjumping Club Inc for a well run show, in not ideal conditions! Thank you to top helper and photographer Tierney Hamilton ... We have a busy two weeks and then we are off to Macedon Open and Pony Club SUPERCROSS with Mintie and Tuxie!

24.01.2022 Mac and Samson are no longer double trouble, Zena has joined the crew and they are triple trouble #skyfallparkequestrian #teamOrange #supercute

24.01.2022 We headed off to Canberra early this morning for the second horse trials of the season for us, and Tuxie’s first run back at EvA 95 since his injury last year. Tux was very calm and laid back in the dressage but unfortunately not what the judge was looking for and 2 rider rails in the show jumping left us further down the board than we would have liked. Not to panic, tomorrow is another day! The cross country looks awesome and we are looking forward to getting around clear and under time!! Katt has been filling Tuxie in on the plan so standby to see if she has the magic touch or not

Enter via the Wirlinga Pony Club website http://www.wirlingaponyclub.org.au/latest-/wirlinga-pc-ode/... Who wouldn't want to win a fancy rug!! 21.01.2022 Last week we presented three of our foals for the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia. First up was Skyfall Satisfaction Guaranteed (Stitch). Stitch scored well over all the categories and was presented with a Silver Award for a overall high score! Stitch is by Satisfaction, who is by the super sire Staccato, and out of Cecile. During his stallion performance test, Satisfaction was judged with excellent marks in all partial evaluations. However, his excellent rideability, h...is perfect character and his pedigree give rise to the supposition that his main talent will be showjumping. Satisfaction has an index of 158 on the German Equestrian Federation (FN) for 2010, placing him in the top 1% of all jumper sires. Stitch is out of Show Baby (Bella). Bella's pedigree is saturated with the best thoroughbred foundation sires known in the world today for producing international quality sport horses for the Olympic disciplines. In her first 12 generations, she has dozens of appearances of the three thoroughbred giants with immeasurable critical mass and genetic power; Blenheim (Blandford/Charles O’Malley), Mumtaz Mahal (The Tetrarch/Sundridge) and Nearco (Pharos/Havresac II). In addition, she has numerous repeats of Nasrullah (Nearco/Blenheim), Man O’War (Fair Play/Rock Sand), Princequillo (Prince Rose/Papyrus) and Native Dancer (Polynesian/Discovery), which are leading thoroughbred sire lines for producing internationally successful sport horses. A huge thank you to the following people, with out them none of this would have been possible! Glenis at International Horse Breeders Pty Ltd for making everything easy and hassle free! Allison and the team at Ovens Valley Equine for looking after Bella from day one. Stephen Mowbray Photography for the great photos! Keep a eye out over the next few days for the other foals!

21.01.2022 Being wet and miserable outside means time to catch up in the office- sigh! But it also means that we are getting closer to spring, which means our 2018 foals will be here soon! So instead of doing office work, we shall waste time and recap on the very exciting foals we have coming this season!! SE Godswalk- Swish, by Kinnordy Gym Bello (Astek Stud) and out of Khozy View (TB), Is in foal to Higgins(Equus Australia).Higgins is by the super sire Heraldik, out of Felicitas (For ...Pleasure X Grundfee). APH Marina- Marina, Who is by Staccato, and out of APH Meander (APH Sporthorses) was put in foal to Hyperion, Who is also by Heraldik, out of Vis-a-Vis (Voltaire X Grandada). The idea of putting both these warmblood mares over Heraldik Stallions was to give the offspring more blood, and therefore have a better chance of producing a strong eventing type. Showbaby- Bella, By Murphys Blu Boy, out of Zarsho, who carries the lines of Zabeel, Danehill and Sir Tristram. Bella is in foal to For Edition who is by Forsyth, out of Leggiera (Leggiero X Odessa). Indiscrete- Lilly, By Grosvenor, out of The Folly (Otehi Bay X The Fantasy). Lilly is in foal to Showdown (Oakford Equine Hospital), who is by Sandro Hit, out of Goldfee (Goldstren X Iphimedea). A huge thank you to Ovens Valley Equine for looking after our mares so well and having a 100% success rate with the pregnancies. Also thank you to Glenis at International Horse Breeders Pty Ltd for making everything so easy!

20.01.2022 A huge thank you to Gundagai Horse Trials for sending us Tuxies rosette, since we couldn't stay for prize giving. Tux finished 4th in his EvA95 class, and also won $100 for the highest placed Off The Track thoroughbred! Tux started his performance horse career 14 months ago. He has been super consistent, having 14 starts, placing in 9 of them and finished in the top 10 every other time. For a horse who until 14 months ago had no idea what dressage or jumping was, he has come along well in a short time. Bring on next season, and some much needed dressage boot camp

19.01.2022 Our third and final foal we presented for the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia tour was Skyfall Park Golden Eye (Gee). Gee also received good scores, although being only 3 weeks old at the time he was a little too young to show off what we are sure will be super paces! Gee is by Grey Top (Graft Top X Silver Dream). Grey Top is a horse that attracts a lot of attention, thanks to his excellent exterior and his outstanding jumping ability. During his performance test this p...remium stallion showed his attitude and willingness to work, traits that helped Grey Top receive numerous first places and further good rankings in young horse jumping tests at novice and elementary level. His sire Graf Top, Hanoverian stallion of the year 2011, carries the coveted blood of Goldfisch II several times in his pedigree. The high level of performance in his genetic makeup, with Graf Grannus, Calypso II and Gotthard, makes him one of the most coveted Hanoverian jumping sires. Grey Top has additional highly demanded jumping genes through his dam, Silver Dream. Singular Joter I and once again Calypso II, complete the sports pedigree of this young sire. Grey Top will play a major role in future breeding. Gee is out of Checkers (Rustic Amber xx / Salmon Leap xx / Gala Crest xx). Checkers was Classified into the Australian Hanoverian Society studbook as a younger mare, she achieved an overall score of 8, positioning her in an elite group of the highest scoring thoroughbred mares in Australia. Checkers is by Rustic Amber who was also the sire of international eventer Kirby Park Allofasudden ridden by Australian Olympian Megan Jones. He won the Melbourne International CCI3* (finishing on his dressage score), then after winning the Reynella CIC3* went on to place second in the CCI4* at the Australian International Three Day event. In 2009, he completed the eventing season ranked 2nd on the FEI World Rankings Table. Rustic Amber’s sire, Thatching (Thatch/Abernant), is a well-reputed sire of many international sport horses including thoroughbred mare Rustic Rouge who won an individual gold medal in the showjumping (over a very challenging course) at the 2002 Asian Games. It is a huge team effort to get the foals to this stage, so thank you to the team behind the scenes International Horse Breeders Pty Ltd, Ovens Valley Equine, Stephen Mowbray Photography for all the help and support! Plus a massive thank you to our Skyfall Park Team, Kattriya McKinnon, Ella Feeney, Ray Dougherty, Rory Hamilton and Tierney Hamilton for all the hard work put in not only on the day but in the weeks and months before hand. We look forward to seeing what this fast approaching breeding season brings us!!

18.01.2022 Gundagai Horse Trials Day 2- Cross Country! Katt and Cinders were in the EvA80, and unfortunately like a number of others both before and after her, elected to check out the ditch in depth and admire the handy work that had gone into the new course. Both walked home and live to fight another day! The EvA95 Cross Country proved to be a tough track and influential on the placings. Tux was a star and stormed round to come home clear and under time, one of only 7 to do so in ou...r class, which moved us up to 4th, and the highest placed TB in the class!! A huge thank you to the event organisers, volunteers and helpers who made this day possible. On to Albury this weekend for the last run of the season for us before the ponies enjoy a well deserved holiday

18.01.2022 Wahoo Friday!! We are eventing this weekend at the local Barry Hillier Memorial Horse Trials. Tux is in the Open Grade 2 and Cinders in the Open Grade 4. Who else is going? If you see us come and say Hi #skyfallparkequestrian #bringontheweekend #letsgoeventing #TGIF

15.01.2022 Yesterday we had the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia Tour stop at Skyfall Park. We presented three foals, Skyfall Satisfaction Guaranteed (Stitch), Skyfall Casino Royale (Vespa) and Skyfall Golden Eye (Gee). All three foals scored well, with Stitch and Vespa both being presented with a Sliver Award for high scores. This is a huge win for Skyfall and reassuring to know that we are on the right track with our breeding program! Stitch- By Satisfaction ( Staccato/ Cecile) ...Out of Show Baby (Murphy's Blu Boy/ Zarsho). International Horse Breeders Pty Ltd Vespa- By Contenda (Contendro I/ Ballerina) Out of Indiscrete (Grosvenor/ The Folly). Gee- By Grey Top (Graft Top/Silver Dream) Out of Checkers (Rustic Amber/ Feather Wing). There are a lot of people who make this all possible, Firstly Thank you to Katy Holder-Vale for assessing the foals and passing on your great advice and thoughts. It was very greatly received! Also Thank you to Peter Vousden for the ongoing commentary and jokes, we found it all very funny! The dogs will let you in any time ;) Thank you to Rachel Whiting for arranging this leg of the tour and also for loaning us your Hanoverian Flags! Well done to Matavia Performance Horses for their successful day on Monday! Thank you to Jones the Grocer Albury for providing a superb lunch that we all enjoyed. It was presented beautifully and tasted great! Thank you to Stephen Mowbray for giving up time in his very busy week to come and spend the day to capture the important moments, we cant wait to see the photos! A huge thank you to my team, Kattriya McKinnon, Rory Hamilton, Tierney Hamilton, Ella Feeney and Ray Dougherty who worked hard to make sure the place was spotless. Which is no easy task with the amount we have going on. Jade x

13.01.2022 Exciting news for Skyfall Park as we had Skyfall Licence to Kill (Lilo) presented during the Australian Warmblood Horse Association (AWHA) Ltd National Championship and Classification Tour last week . It was an outstanding result with Lilo being classified as the highest Led Filly under 1 year old Nationally in the AWHA Warmblood Performance Registration Book (WPRB). Lilo is the first filly to SE Godswalk (Sire - Kinnordy Gym Bello, Dam- Kinnordy Hozy View), sired by Lapto...p (Sire - Lordeo, Dam Candy). Laptop was sovereign winner of the Stallion performance test 1995 achieving high results in Dressage and Jumping. Not only was Lilo classified 1st in her immediate class, it also meant she was 3rd Nationally for all Ages for Led Classes WPRB for the 2018 Tour. The team at Skyfall now looks forward to the development of Lilo into an outstanding Eventing horse. Well done team. Kevin Astek Stud International Horse Breeders Pty Ltd

12.01.2022 On Friday we travelled to Gundagai for the day to play show jumpers, both Tuxie and I needed the outing and it was good to get out and have a jump before we head out eventing next weekend. The grounds were fantastic, thank you to the hard working Gundagai Show Showjumping committee for putting in so much effort. It was a great surface to jump on! Yesterday Tuxie and I had a Showjumping lesson and worked on being a little bit less rusty. It’s great to see how far Tucker has come in such a short amount of time! Tomorrow we are off to Gundagai again for the Australian Warmblood Horse Association (AWHA) Ltd NSW leg of the tour. We are taking Swish and Lilo to be assessed, so a long afternoon of washing and plaiting awaits us!

12.01.2022 Finally our last baby has arrived! This is Gee (pronounced G). He is going to go grey, Katt thinks it's very exciting! I however, see lots of purple shampoo and scrubbing in the future Skyfall Golden Eye (Gee) is by Grey Top, and out of one of our favourite mares, Annie. He is a stunner already! He has arrived in time to be presented at the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia tour in early March, which we are looking forward to! Huge thank you to Allison and the team at ...Ovens Valley Equine for looking after all our horses so well this season! We really are so lucky to be able to sleep through the night and not worry about foal watch! International Horse Breeders Pty Ltd

11.01.2022 Barry Hillier this year was not the best event for us unfortunately. We have come to the conclusion that both Tuxie and Cinders had a plan to do the worst dressage in the history of dressage. They succeeded and we were pretty close to the bottom of the score board. Thankfully they both made up for it (or heard our threats of no dinner for the next week) and jumped clear. Horses are great levellers, we came home safe at the end of the day which is the most important thing! W...e have some very exciting news so stay tuned in the coming days . . . . . Thank you to the committee and all the helpers who make it possible for us to compete. Thank you to everyone who helped us both yesterday and today, it is very much appreciated! Amelia McCrabb and Heidi finished third in the Open Grade 4. Rory Hamilton and Cinders finished Second in the Pony Club Grade 4.... Although not in the ribbons today, well done to fellow team member Tinks and Jester for completing their first Horse Trial together!! It was a very good day for the Team! Thank you to Kergunyah Pony Club for a well run event in not the greatest conditions. And to all the helps, supporters and sponsors that make events like this possible! We had a huge team helping us all this weekend, Thank you to all of you for the help, support and photos! But a very special thank you to Kattriya McKinnon who ran miles, brushed a million tails and looked after all of us so well! you are truly the best camp Mother ever and we all appreciated it so much Bring on the next one!!

09.01.2022 Gundagai Horse Trials Day 1, Dessage and show jumping done Cinders did a good test and had a unfortunate rail in the EvA80 to be sitting mid feild going into Cross country tomorrow. Poor Tux had the only dressage arena next to the racecourse. After warming up super, on the way down to the judge he spotted the starting gates and turned into a nervous, sweating, shaking mess. He managed to keep his feet on the floor of most of the test and we survived!! He then show jumped cl...ear and we are sitting just outside the top 10 heading into Cross country tomorrow. The course is looking great and we are excited to get out and see how it rides! Bring on the fun stuff!! Good luck to everyone competing at Friends Of Wirlinga Pony Club Horse Trials tomorrow! Skyfall Park has sponsored one of the classes so we look forward to seeing who gets the Skyfall Park rug!

08.01.2022 Dressage day done not a bad day at the office for the team. Tuxie managed to do one of his best tests yet. He was the most relaxed and rideable he has ever been, which is a huge win, and shows all the hours we have put in at home have been paying off. Unfortunately the rider got lost and cost us a course error (Sorry Tuxie) but left us in third. Cinders has been pulled from retirement and has been having a ball with Rory. They pulled out a awesome test to be sitting ...4th. Meelie is riding under the Skyfall Banner this weekend, she and Heidi also pulled a cool, calm and collected test to sit in third. We have walked the cross country and enjoyed some rain which was much needed and are looking forward to a big day of jumping tomorrow, bring on the fun stuff!

07.01.2022 Moyhu Pony Club Horse Trials was a weekend of ups and downs. Katt and Cinders did a awesome dressage test to be sitting second. Unfortunately having to show jump in horrible conditions resulted in 12 faults, but they went clear cross country to finish 5th!! Tuxie did a super dressage test leaving him also in second. We left all the rails up show jumping, and came home clear and under time on Cross Country to take the win!! Photo Credit: Hamiltion Family :)

06.01.2022 Albury Horse Trials wrap up! Tux jumped super round his first Pre Novice (105) Cross country track to come home clear and under time, moving us up to 9th! He is now on a well earned break, babysitting the yearlings and not acting his age A huge thank you to all the event organisers, volunteers and people behind the scenes who make the events possible for us riders! ... A huge thank you to all the organisers and helpers, who made not only our day possible but the whole tour. To be able to see the scores of the other foals around Australia is a great help. Lilo was the highest scoring filly overall and Second out of all age groups! We look forward to seeing what this filly can do in the future!

02.01.2022 Macedon Open and Pony Club SUPERCROSS Wrap up! We had a great weekend, a huge thank you to Louise Hemingway and family for having us to stay, the ponies enjoyed spending the night in a paddock rather than a yard and we enjoyed the great company! Katt and Mintie had a good first outing after only 2 weeks together. Katt just took it easy due to Mintie being a trendsetter and only wanting to wear shoes on 3 out of 4 feet! But came home safe and had fun!... Tux and I came for the last Macedon Supercross, just over 6 months ago, as our last Grade 4 run and finished 4th. This time we were in the Grade 2 and finished 4th again! Next year we will try and go one better! Well done to Macedon Pony Club, the event organisers and volunteers for such a well run event!! We enjoy making the trip to this event, it is something special! We are now looking forward to Gundagai Horse Trials in a few weeks time!

02.01.2022 After a disappointing Saturday, Tuxie stormed round the cross country clear and under time giving me a super confident ride to finish 12th. This was only his third 95cm start and his first start back at this height since his injury last year, so he is truly super! Big thanks to Katt for being top groom all weekend! This weekend we are off to Moyhu Pony Club Horse Trials, with Tuxie in the Grade 2 and Katt riding Cinders in the Grade 4. ... Photo Credit: Rod Peters

01.01.2022 The second foal we presented for the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia Tour was Skyfall Casino Royale (Vespa). Vespa scored the highest out of the three foals we presented and also earned herself a silver award. Vespa is by Contenda (Contendro 1 X Ballerina (Bolero/Lugano)). Contenda carries some of the most highly sort after bloodlines that the world has to offer. Each generation of his pedigree is filled with outstanding individuals who have gone on to produce the world...s leading showjumping, eventing and dressage horses as well as the next generation of supersires. Contenda's sire, Contendro 1, is renowned for producing progeny that can compete on the world stage in all disciplines. Contenda's dam line of Bolero/Lugano mixes show the proven dressage breeding with the athletism of the thoroughbred. The result is Contenda being the athletic mix of 75% warmblood and 25% thoroughbred blood. Vespa is out of Indiscrete (Grosvenor xx / Otehi Bay xx / Gate Keeper xx). Lilly was imported from New Zealand and classified into the Hanoverian studbook with an overall score of 8. She is very typey thoroughbred mare by the well-known thoroughbred sire, Grosvenor (Sir Tristram/Hermes). We are looking forward to seeing what this stunning filly will be able to do when she grows up! Once again a huge thank you to Ovens Valley Equine for all their help! Also thank you to Stephen Mowbray for the awesome photos! even if it did take 10 laps ;)

01.01.2022 A bit of a giggle to help get though Friday

01.01.2022 Another new addition to the Skyfall Team! This is Skyfall Confidential who is Skyfall Casino Royale's (Vespa) twin! He is by Contenda, and an embryo out of our favourite mare Indiscrete, who is by Grosvenor. That makes him a brother from another mother Huge thank you to Ovens Valley Equine for looking after both mum and bub so well!
