08.01.2022 Skytrek Willow Springs Station is a 70,000 acre working sheep station in the picturesque Flinders Ranges, located only 21km north east of Wilpena Pound and adjacent to the Flinders Ranges National Park. We are a family run business that diversified into tourism in the late 80’s and now operate the Pastoral and Tourism Businesses as two separate entities. Skytrek Willow Springs Station is seeking an energetic, hard-working couple to join our team for the School Holiday perio...ds and assist with the maintenance and housekeeping of 7 diverse self-contained accommodation ranging from small to large, alongside maintaining 17 private and secluded bush campsites with amenities & camp kitchen. These varied paid positions include cleaning of the tourism accommodation, shower blocks and camp kitchen, and may involve some gardening, maintenance, grounds keeping and communicating with guests. Hours will vary daily with some days only keeping candidates busy for a couple of hours, if any hours at all, whilst other days will be a full day’s work. This of course gives the candidates the opportunity to explore the unique Flinders Ranges and to become involved within the local community. We stress the periods for which we are hiring are extremely busy and can be very tiring and challenging and we ask that you strongly consider this factor when applying. Majority of the time the candidate will be working in a team environment however there may be times you are required to work on your own. We would prefer people with their own caravan or motorhome as there is no staff accommodation available. Power will be available and we also ask that you have a current Police Check. Please note there is no mobile phone service at your site however measured WIFI is available and there is full Telstra service available within a 10min drive. 03.01.2022 There's been a bit going on this past couple of weeks with Covid19 Lockdowns and re-openings, so we haven't had the chance to fill you in on our exciting news. We officially have sheep back at @Skytrek Willow Springs Station!!! Whilst we made the difficult decision to destock at the start of the year due to drought, the recent La Nina Rainfalls have been enough to allow some vegetation to grow again on the property and we've been able to bring stock back to the station....
