24.01.2022 We heard a little rumor that Creek Tigers, & Slacks Creek Rugby League used to have a friendly game of cricket each year, upon further investigation we found this little gem. It's currently in the possession of the Lions, we can only assume we won it back in 2011, it's believed one club would host one year and the other would host the following year, to support and help each other fundraise, our relationship with our fellow neighbors has been great behind the scene we have been working together for the greater good of usher park, eg coming together to have a gate installed into the park. We have spoken with our neighbors and both clubs are very keen to get this going again, so stay tuned for a date it will be a very entertaining day, if you have a memory or a story please tell us about it.
24.01.2022 Happy new year lions! As we say farewell to 2020, let's give thanks to everyone that helped us out. To all our Volunteers, Coaches, Managers, Committee members, without your tireless work in 2020, we wouldn't have got the job done, so thank you so much.... To our sponsors, Little Boring Pty Ltd, Sunset Signs, SQS Haulage, Wara Sushi Meadowbrook, Tyrepower Slacks Creek, Bmi Engineering, Flexihire, Thank you for all your support. And we hope we can work with you more in 2021. Thank you to all the families that stood by the club through 2020, and we are looking forward to seeing you all again in the new year. 18.01.2022 Public service announcement. We get that everyone has hobbies and some are very cool, however could you please refrain from conducting your metal detecting hobby on our field, you know who you are you have been spoken to twice and a police report will be lodged. When we spoke to you the first time you were told even though you are putting the dirt back in the holes you are digging, the grass is dying and it's leaving divots. This can cause serious injuries if anyone put their foot in it, potentially ending their career.
