19.01.2022 Our fees have not changed! A lot of people have asked if we now charge the $7 co-payment. The answer is NO-NO-NO. If it ever does come in the government says from 1 July 2015. Even then it is unclear if it will be passed by the senate. So for now it is business as usual. See you soon.

17.01.2022 Urgent Medicine Recall Syringe Dosing Device for Children’s Panadol 1 Month 2 Years (Baby Drops) RC-2013-RN-01086-1 GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is initiating a recall of Children’s Panadol Baby Drops Syringe due to possible inaccurate placement of the dosing indicator on the syringe. Following initial investigations, GSK says this appears to be a rare incident but in the best interests of consumer safety and in consultation with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), the c...ompany has decided to undertake a voluntary recall. GSK is requesting that consumers check their Children’s Panadol Baby Drops syringe and if one is affected to return them to their pharmacist for a replacement or call the GSK Product Information team on 1800 650 123. GSK will refund these to the pharmacist. Dosing indicators on the Children’s Panadol Baby Drops syringe begin from the bottom of the syringe, near the tip (as seen in the bottom picture below). If you have any concerns that a child may have received too much Children’s Panadol, or if an overdose is taken or suspected, GSK recommends contacting the Poisons Information Centre (Australia 131 126) or asks that the child be taken to hospital immediately even if the child feels well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage if left untreated. GSK says this issue affects the syringe only for the Children’s Panadol Baby Drops product. The medicine in the bottle of Children’s Panadol Baby Drops is not affected. All other products in the Children’s Panadol range are not affected, including the Children’s Panadol Baby Drops that contains a dropper. All Children’s Panadol Baby Drops syringe packs need to be removed from pharmacy shelves and returned to your wholesaler. The wholesaler will refund you. GSK says it is conducting a thorough investigation and actions are being taken to ensure that this situation does not occur again.
