11.01.2022 Appreciation Post How cute is 6-year Violet, she held a Violets Couch Cubby Campout to raise money for our Weekend at Sleapy’s Campaign in August 2020. The first photo is Violet sleeping in her couch cubby that she built for herself.... Its great to see young kids being taught the value of contributing to causes and creating a sense of community spirit. It is the next generation who will be the leaders of our communities in the future. Thanks to Violets mum Jo for not only supporting her challenge but the help and guidance she provides to our Foundation & especially Robynn.

07.01.2022 Spotlight Series Michelle Cox was a much loved nurse at Warners Bay Private Hospital and single mother of 3 children. In late April 2020 she was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, a very rare cancer of the bile duct within the liver. Sadly she passed away three weeks later after numerous procedures and a major operation. Due to COVID, whilst Michelle was in hospital her children had only one hour in total per day to visit their Mum. Thankfully, their Grandmother Jane...lle Gresham was able to stay with Michelle. Janelle is very grateful she was with her daughter at her birth and at her passing and had time to find out Michelle’s wishes. We met Janelle and found out Michelle’s two daughters, Sophie and Sami plan to follow in their Mother’s footsteps in the health industry. Sophie and Sami are so fortunate to have a beautiful kind and caring Grandmother in Janelle who will guide them through the next stage of their lives. Sleapy's Foundation has decided to assist the girls with their ongoing education expenses for the next 5 years. Janelle has these words for Sleapy's Foundation: I cannot thank you enough for organizing this. Shelly was an amazing mother who was so very proud of her children and your support would will allow the girls to continue to work towards their dream of becoming nurses.
