Jesus responds by urging his listeners to respond to him before it’s too late and the consequences too tragic. He warns especially those who think they will enter God’s kingdom, but won’t because they haven’t properly responded to Jesus. 10.01.2022 A baby born out of wedlock in a small and forgotten town. An obscure rabbi teaching in a small synagogue in a small village centuries ago. A nameless woman centuries ago healed of her physical ailment. In the eyes of the world these events would be utterly insignificant. You could say they had roughly the same value as a mustard seed. Reflect on the past 2 weeks. How would God respond to the fruitfulness of your repentance? Share some of your personal challenges with bearing this fruit of repentance. Are there any parts of your life you need to repent and bring before God? If you are comfortable, share what they are so others can pray with you.
