23.01.2022 Here's a FFP (Friday Foal Photo) and WWDML (Weekend Walk Down Memory Lane) for this week this daughter of Russian Revolution and Inside Line bred by China Horse Club is directly descended from Dinky Flyer, one of the outstanding racemares of her time. Saturday's NSW Tattersall's Club Cup at Randwick was won by Dinky Flyer in 1986, before she went on to win the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes later that same season. (Photography by Claire Murray)

21.01.2022 What a great weekend of racing and how good is it to see our sales graduates doing so well. Firstly, Spendthrift Farm's Dirty Work ran a hugely creditable placing in the G1 Manikato Stakes and then Yes Baby Yes claimed the G2 Lexus Fillies Classic for Malua Racing. And while it wasn't black-type, the victory of Icebath for Brad Widdup Racing was richly deserved as the racemare's efforts this campaign have been outstanding. Congratulations to all parties involved. It's a pleasure to have played our part!
07.01.2022 Sledmere Stud’s Magic Millions Yearlings have commenced their sale preparation this week and we have an outstanding draft on offer. The On-Farm yearling parades are due to commence from late November. This year we have made the decision to compress our parades to one a day due to the large yearling draft numbers. Our parades will be conducted on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 8am only. ... Please be aware that there could be a possibility that you will be joining other clients on the day. This mare with a handsome Deep Field chestnut colt on her goes by the name of Scrum and is a half-sister to the exciting Newgate Farm sire Extreme Choice. Here's to a wonderful Saturday afternoon of racing and hopefully another Bledisloe Cup clash as compelling as the recent 16-16 draw!

01.01.2022 Sledmere Stud is currently looking for 2 more people to join the team. Experienced horses people would be preferred but general horse experience is a must . Fantastic salary on offer , accommodation included and use of a car can be arranged . 2nd , 3rd year visa can be signed off . Couples also please enquire as we have gardening farm work available also if no horse experience .
