25.01.2022 When is it time to replace your pillow? As a general rule, bed pillows need to be replaced after 18 months. Memory pillows typically last up to three years. Natural pillows tend to last longer than synthetic pillows. Higher quality pillows will last longer than inexpensive ones. if you are using a pillow that is five or six years old, your not getting the support you need and your not sleeping as comfortably as you could. How old is your pillow? Your pillow gets used about 7-8 hours a night - that's more than 2,500 hours a year. Like your mattress, your pillow is an investment in high-quality sleep, which pays dividends across your waking life.

25.01.2022 Tasting Tuesday - 30 Minute Chickpea and Tomato Coconut Curry. I made this last week and it was so easy and so incredibly delicious, I thought I would share it with you all. INGREDIENTS: 2 tablespoons avocado oil... 1 medium sized onion, diced small 4 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon curry powder pinch of crushed dried chilies (optional) 1 can of petite diced tomatoes 2 cans of chickpeas, drained and rinsed 1 can full fat coconut milk 3 cups of broth of choice juice of half a lime FOR GARNISH - fresh lime - thinly sliced red onion - cilantro - roasted cashews INSTRUCTIONS 1. Heat the oil over medium heat in a large soup pot. Add the onion, garlic and teaspoon of salt. Sauté for about 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until translucent and soft. 2. Next add the curry powder and pinch of dried chilli and stir almost constantly for about 30 seconds, until spices are fragrant and start to stick to the bottom of the pan. 3. Add the diced tomatoes and broth. 4. Scrape up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Bring to the boil and then reduce to a simmer. 5. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes, until tomatoes are soft. 6. Add chickpeas and coconut milk and bring to a simmer. Simmer for another 5 minutes to marry the flavours. 7. Season with salt and pepper and juice of half a lime. 8. Serve topped with sliced red onion, cilantro, roasted cashews and more lime wedges. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
25.01.2022 Keep Sand at Bay with a Little Baby Powder. Did you know that baby powder has the ability to keep moisture at bay, which happens to works well for damp sand at the beach. We have all been there beach water and sand on our feet when we are trying to leave for the day...... Shake a little baby powder on your feet or any body part that has sand, let it sit for a minute, and then wipe it off. The baby powder should absorb the excess moisture, allowing you to knock each sand granule off just a little bit easier.

21.01.2022 Where in the world? Beautiful Borneo we visited in June 2018 and what an stunning surprise. Our first group tour with TripADeal and it was astounding... from touring in breathtaking Sabah, stopping at a natural river with fish feeding on our feet to cruising the river spotting the wildlife in the jungle. Visiting the conservation centres for the Orangutans and Sun Bears and the beautifully kept war memorial. Its definitely a place to think about when travel starts again.... 18.01.2022 Where in the world? Sapa, Vietnam - Beautiful Sapa is located in the northern mountains of Vietnam and so incredibly stunning... We visited in 2017 and trekked for 2 days. We caught the overnight train up and back. The people were friendly and I have to say I had the best ever mojito in Sapa! Have you been to Sapa and what were your memories? #sapavietnam

15.01.2022 What are the main necessities you like when staying in an Airbnb? For me I like a comfy bed, enough wine glasses and coffee mugs and I do like the linen to be supplied. The last place we stayed left us a bottle of champers which was really appreciated.

03.01.2022 Where in the world? Grampians, Victoria, Australia. You can't miss the Grampians, a majestic mountain range and forest rising out of the flat farmland in Victoria's west. Head out on walking tracks that lead to dazzling waterfalls, wildlife and awe-inspiring lookouts.... We set up camp in Halls Gap amongst the cockatoo's, kangaroo's and emu's. We only stayed 2 nights which wasn't long enough but gave us taste to come back and do more of this beautiful area. Make sure you ad this to your itinerary, you won't be disappointed. See more
