18.01.2022 Who agrees that change is one of the hardest thing EVER?! The beginning of any new journey can feel really bloody uncomfortable! When we vow to change something, we are entering an area of unknown and allowing space for some big emotions to surface. It’s much easier to stay where we are, somewhere familiar, even if it isn’t serving us. Human nature keeps us hoping that things will soon change, or provides us with an excuse as to why something is how it is and cannot ch...ange right now. We do it for so many things in life, one of them being sleep! The timing will never be perfect but I’m here to tell you it’s never too late. Change is scary but it doesn’t have to be tackled alone. If you don’t know where to start or you just simply feel too exhausted to begin, I am here to guide and support you. I can help get you to where you want to be and make change work for you. Let’s get you comfortable in a new normal and begin your journey today. Contact me for your free 15 minute chat (link in bio) so we can discuss a plan that will work for you. Jen xx
11.01.2022 Is your baby between 3-12 months? SAVE THIS POST for your COMPLETE DAY SLEEP RECOMMENDATIONS guide to be used for future reference. I’ve mentioned before that my awake window guide starts from the moment baby opens their eyes, and finishes when baby is back asleep again. From around 6 months of age, you may begin to notice an increase in your baby’s awake window tolerance. This may change in length as the day progresses, or it may not! Try to be guided as much as you can you...r baby’s responses and sleepy cues. If you are seeing challenges in relation to your baby falling asleep, it may be worth playing around with their awake time +/- 15 mins to begin with. Is there is one sleep they are struggling to go down for more than another? Try just adjusting the awake window just before that particular sleep. With any routine change, it is worth monitoring for a few days to see if it helps! My Essential 3-8 month old Sleep Guide is available right now packed with so much troubleshooting info on issues such as this! Tag a mum or dad that needs this information! Do you have an awake window question? Pop it below
