05.01.2022 The recent announcement of restrictions on events attracting more than 100 people have compelled us to reluctantly cancel this week's gig.

02.01.2022 In the last week, the Sleepy Hollow Blues Club committee has carefully considered the developments on the COVID-19 pandemic, including reviewing the advice provided the Australian and Victorian governments. After much consultation, a little heartbreak, and seeking out your opinions, we have made the decision to cancel the March gig. Our feature act, the Lounge Lizards are equally disappointed but have accepted that it was inevitable. We expect to be able to have them play a...t our club later this year, exactly when that will be we are unable to answer at this time. We share the disappointment of our members and musos that this decision had to be made but feel it’s the right one. This decision has not been made lightly. The flow on effect of this and possible future cancellations is also felt by arts workers, casual staff in venues and the many suppliers who work to deliver the events we love. We look forward to the time when our community can come back together and support the blues music sector through participation but only when safe to do so. For now, we must ensure the well being and safety of our audiences, artists, and volunteers. We hope you all stay safe and healthy and thank you for your ongoing support.
