15.01.2022 Synthesis Training // Logo and Branding -- This latest client branding project for my personal trainer, who has just renamed his business, has been so much fun to work on! Many, many pages of sketches and ideas were drawn out and discussed before coming up with the perfect solution that my client was over the moon with! The logo was then applied to a range of collateral, such as business cards, t-shirts and fitness program sheets. --- FYYI... If you want to see some serious fitness results, go see this guy!

13.01.2022 Keeping it in the family... minimalist wedding invitations for my big brother and (now) sister in law! What a pleasure it was to design these beautifully simple invitations inviting their favourite people to share in a very special day. --- Simple design using a mix of contemporary and traditional fonts, along with their 'wedding logo'. --- Black and white digital print on Mohawk Superfine Ultrawhite (those of you who know me will know how excited I was to use Mohawk).

06.01.2022 Ever chosen a paper stock thinking it was white, only to look at it next to another choice and all of a sudden it looks grey... or dull... or really bright... or, in this instance, yellow?! When it comes to paper, there's more than just one shade of white as all papers are made up differently causing them to cast different tones and brightness. They may have a recycled component that gives them a grey-tone or a board with a clay coating which will cast a yellow tone, and so ...on. If you are printing multiple items across a project that need to be on different stocks, remember to check that they all match in colour and tone before beginning to print. --- This exciting project was a perfect example where we missed checking the main print stock with a board that was going to be turned into a post-pack. It was only once we had the post-pack on the press that we noticed the colour variation, which was too noticeable to 'let it slide'! Luckily we have a wonderful relationship with our printers, and the team at Graphic Print Group helped us think of and trial every possible way we could get around this. The outcome... We reworked the design so that the stock differences wouldn't be noticed and everyone was really happy. --- Stay tuned to see the final complete package from Mini Dreamers!
