24.01.2022 Hi all, I am putting this one up for sale. Specs: 12C27 Stainless steel H/T 60-61 Rockwell... O/A 238mm. Handle 105mm. Blade length 133mm. Blade width 30mm at the widest point. Blade thickness 2.5mm at the thickest point. Full flat grind with 800g hand satin finish. The handle is Snottygobble (Yeah I get a silly grin every time I say it too!) with pink G10 liners, Brass pins front and back, Copper pin in the center. This timber has some really nice chatoyancy in it that doesn't show up in photo's, you can see in one pic how the darker spots have almost disappeared. In the light, they vanish and some spots look almost clear with some really nice color changes! Asking $190 AUD posted in Australia, international postage will be a little more! All the usual rules apply no sale to under 18's Etc. Post interest here or via PM

21.01.2022 Hi all, I have just realized that my page has passed 500 followers. So as promised I will be running a giveaway! The results of a previous post about what style people would prefer were mixed so I have decided to leave it up to the winner to choose between a Kitchen Petty or an EDC. The EDC still has a little work to go but you can see the style in this photo. This is how I am going to run it, post a simple "I'm in" below (Please do not post comments, etc I want to keep it u...ncluttered!) I will assign each post a number and at the end, I will run the numbers through a random number generator to get the winner. Now to the small print! Entries will end at 11:59PM AEST on Sunday the 5th of April. I will draw the winner on Monday the 6th of April. Only 1 entry per person. You must have liked or followed my page. I will cover the cost of postage in Australia, International entries are accepted but the winner will have to pay for shipping! Good luck to everyone and please stay safe in these troubled times!

19.01.2022 I still have these 2 available, I have discounted them for Christmas. Prices on photos, full specs, and more photos on my page.

13.01.2022 Good afternoon all, I will be beginning to run 1 on 1 lessons next month. I still have a few details to work out, but for the moment I will be offering a 6 hr grinding course that will cover different grinding techniques. I will run through flat and hollow grinds with both freehand and push stick, using some mild steel practice blanks. I will also cover hand sanding the finished grinds. At the end of the day using your preferred technique, you will grind a pre-heat-treated st...ainless blank that you can take home and finish. The cost is looking to be around $350 for the day, so if anyone is interested let me know and we can work out some dates I will eventually be running a complete 3-day Knifemaking course, but for the moment it will just be day courses. Cheers all Stacy

01.01.2022 It's a bummer but with things the way they are ATM it had to be done!!!

01.01.2022 Hi all, I have another one finished and ready to go, Kitchen Utility in RWL-34. Specs as follows: RWL-34 Stainless steel H/T 60-61 Rockwell O/A 238mm. Handle 105mm.... Blade length 133mm. 01.01.2022 Hi all, I haven't got much finished lately, with the Kids home and trying to get them into a routine for homeschooling I haven't gotten much time in the workshop. Most of the time I have had, I have been making some new tools (A disk sander and a dedicated tang tapering platen!) and organizing the workshop a little better. I have managed to get this one finished though! This was planned to be one of my three Knives for my full Guild membership assessment, but I stuffed up the... fitting of the handles! The liners do not match up, one set of scales must have moved when drilling the pin holes so I'm not sure what to do with this one! Other than that I was happy with how the rest came up especially the finish on the blade!!!. RWL-34 in my drop point utility pattern. 800g hand satin finish. Full flat grind. The handle is "Damascus" pattern Micarta with a black linen Micarta bolster and Red G10 liners/spacers. Copper pins. I don't generally make full Micarta handles as I prefer to use natural handle materials, but I have had this piece of Micarta for several years and decided it was time to use it. It came up pretty good, I like the patters in it and it matches the linen Micarta well, but the colour came out much darker than it looked on the raw piece. Thanks for looking everyone and please stay safe!!! Cheers Stacy
