21.01.2022 Hi All, I know I’ve spoken to some of you about Equicore. I’m placing an order to have some sent out from the US and thought I’d see if any of my clients were ...interested. Equicore is not a training gimmick, it’s designed to use proprioception to ask your horse to use his core, thus strengthening it. As with us, when we have a strong core we are less prone to injury and back pain. The huge difference with Equicore is you can ride with it. It also comes in a western pad. The third photo is my own horse, there are 4 months between photos, he was worked for 10-15 minutes in the Equicore system 1-2 times a week during this time and you can see the huge difference in his core strength and balance. He has mild kissing spines and pain causes him to loose weight, working in the Equicore allows him to build a stronger core which takes the pressure off his spinous processes and relieves his pain. Aged 7-12yo. Must be quiet enough for a para equestrian able bodied rider with limitations on the abilities to have full use of legs at times. Must be kind with reasonable paces (does not need to be an Olympic super star) preferably to Elementary but will happily look at lower levels for the right... horse this is a life long purchase. Needs to be quite responsive to voice and have exceptional manners on the ground and being ridden. Must be a good traveller and be able to managed by young lady rider. Also must be able to be ridden out on trails in company or on own safely. This home doesn’t have a huge buy budget max to 12k but the home is 5* and will want for nothing. Race Horses are one of our specialties and this little man is no exception with the Magic Millions inspection seing him short listed with a high recommendation. 09.01.2022 Incredibly proud of these three!! Two bipolar opposite horses and one very talented young lady who is working extremely hard on her journey.. Our sport is a rigorous emotional roller coaster as you are playing with two seperate individual minds, now add to that the negative people willing you to fall and celebrating when you do, having people constantly judging what they perceive as the easy road, the people always pulling your performances past and present apart, the people... always angry or bitter with your victories no matter how big or small.. people we have to stop this cycle this is rife at the base level of all our sports.. it is our job to teach these kids to celebrate each other, lift each other up, catch each other as they stumble. The biggest problem is ‘WE’ the so called adults need to step up and ourselves STOP this cycle.. These kids are learning this behaviour we need to become better teachers so the evolving world of sport and competition is one of celebrations, fun times with a life time of memories not a war zone that creates anxiety, depression and hatred.. Yep you are sitting on two very talented ponies Tamika but neither are easy and the results don’t just simply happen. Out of ‘Patou’ (Albericht x Rocadero) Already qualified and eligible for DJWTS 2020 to be held in October. Paddy as he is affectionately known qualified very easily as a 4yo with great scores of 7.9 and 8.1, exciting feedback and showed exemplary manners and his usual fabulous work ethic. We are sure with the way he has progressed during Covid he will step out and wow the judges again. Paddy regularly goes out on trails around lanes, has been out in the bigger paddocks, rounded up the cows, through creek crossings both on his own and in company. He is by James 007 who combines Jazz and Rotspon, out of Carolyn Henleys super mare Patou who is by Albericht out of a Rocadero mare. With this wonderful pedigree he definitely has the movement, ability and trainability to go all the way through to Grand Prix. This pony is a gutsy little go getter, he absolutely loves to jump and loves attention. Has been shown extensively in his early days including Royals and knows his job well, has also done many years of pony club and eventing with previous owner. I highly recommend Sam Fawcett she is professional thorough and the horses transformations since Sam has been doing their treatments has been amazing. The treatments are more that just a massage they are a full equine body assessment, acupuncture and kinesiology taping of required with a detailed treatment plan and a maintenance schedule. Sam will be at Spirit Lodge every Tuesday if you are wanting your horse treated but have to work feel free to contact me and we can arrange for you to drop off your treasured baby have the treatment and be ready for pick up when your finished. Sessions can be videoed or FaceTimed if you require also so you get to see just how amazing Sam is.
