So much t...hanks to YolanDa Brown Sarah Ward and the whole team. This is dedicated to AYINYE (Ayi's mother) who played a pivotal role in our community in Ghana, as she sat on the street and sold banku and fish, she became our second parent or guardian, knew everyone and their families, knew all the gossip, she told us off if we went too far off as kids, reported us to our parents, knew all strangers and was the first point of contact for anything. It was just amazing realising how important she was in our lives as children growing up, her knowledge guidance and protection kept us and the whole neighbourhood ticking, its such an honour to be able to exalt her spirit in the ancestral world with this song. Thank you so much Robin Downe - Audio Services and Yellow Arch Studios for helping us capture the vibe and sonics of the moment.
