19.01.2022 At Jerry's fundraiser this afternoon at Billinudgel pub.. The day's weather started looking questionable. ..overcast but no rain...after an hour or so after th...e benifit began it started to sprinkle. ..then a little rain..by this time there was a large crowd. ...after 30 mins the rain stopped and the concert continued with weather that we are used to. .. Every act was awesome. .each different and equally entertaining...people dancing..folk enjoying the goings on. .. The turn out was fantastic. ...just great to see the respect and love folk have for Jerry... Jerry turned up for a bit but clearly wasn't well and left soon after.. 19.01.2022 Such a wonderful afternoon at Slim Pickens studio w/ my mates Clelia Adams Alan Brooker recording Clel’s hit Wildflowers for Saturday Night Country . Slim play...ed some beautiful rhythm & mandolin, Al layed down some tasty bass grooves & Clel of course showed why she is one of this countries finest country singers. 16.01.2022 Friday night at Bangalow Bowling club is the monthly "Blues Club" If anyone loves blues music..good company..a night out..or a great and well priced meal...then... combine it all in one trip / evening.. Apart from the fantastic "FBI" playing and other brilliant muso's. .."Hubcap Stan " & the " Sidewalk Stompers " will take the stage and get your toes a tappin..your body swayin..to some old time country blues and ragtime tunes.. The band consists of Slim Pickens on double bass..philipe del Aqua on 2nd guitar..Leroy Drums on percussion and myself..Hubcap Stan on guitar..vocals and maybe harp... It should be a great night..
