19.01.2022 Hey there Slippy Macks faithful! It seems we're having technical issues with our online ordering system. In store we are receiving different times for when your order should be ready versus what you, our customers are receiving. From investigation it seems mainly do with online ordering for delivery and when it is busy causing the system to crash. Example:... You order at 5.15pm. Our system will say ASAP time 6.15pm (1 hour) for your order to be ready. In real time we acknowledge the order, which prints out but has 6.55pm for your order to be ready If this is happened to you recently we'd love to hear from you. Shoot us a DM!!! We'd like to have the app developers rectify the problem ASAP, any other information regarding the EatAppys usability are welcomed also! Cheers

PLEASE only come in to collect your order at the time given to you. If you are ordering online, be aware that sometimes if multiple orders come through at once we may need to push your time out, which will updated in the app. Unfortunately during peak times we may run a little behind, but know that we try our hardest to be ...on time. We are posting this because unfortunately some people are starting to become too complacent waiting around in store and not adhering to social distancing rules. 10.01.2022 !!IMPORTANT MESSAGE!! Its long but oh so relevant Hey there Slippery Mackerel customers!... Due to the current and ever changing climate of the Coronavirus we thought we should share with you the measures we have been undertaking the last few weeks. Currently we are sanitising any surfaces that may be touched by visitors to our store, every hour. Those being, door handles at entrys/exits, drinks fridge, counter tops, windows, EFTPOS pin pad, seating areas and tables. We are doing this as well as keeping up our high standard of cleanliness front and back of house. Even the fish have been cleaning themselves!! You can be assured that all staff are currently well and fit for work. They have been advised to stay home if they start feeling sick or have come into contact with anybody who has symptoms or has contracted the virus. This is above all for their safety, ours and last but not least yours. To help limit interactions in store we would love for customers to start using our EatAppy App, which you can download to your mobile from an App Store. Once installed, all you need to do is search for Slippery Mackerel either sign up or continue on as a guest then place and pay for your order online. Once youve received your pickup time come into the store at that allocated time (no earlier please) make yourself known to staff, grab it and leave! Easy as bro! Doing this will limit close contact exposure and also help with social distancing practices. Please note online ordering is also available via our website theslipperymackerel.com.au We have also been assured by our suppliers that they are continuing on as normal. Currently there is a short supply of lamb but we have alternatives in place in case they do run out. 04.01.2022 Unfortunately due to the current social distancing rules we will be unable to take any walk in orders this coming Good Friday. Instead, like previous years, we will be taking pre orders starting fromTuesday 7th April. Pre orders can be made in store but preferably we would like for them to be ordered and paid for over the phone (We will still be taking phone orders on the Friday, only if there are times available.)... Allocated time slots for deliveries (ARMSTEONG CREEK ONLY) will also be available between 11am - 2:30pm and 4:30 - 8pm So get in quick to secure yours!
